Had a lovely round of golf in the sunshine and a lovely meal afterwards.

£30 for a greenfee that I would have said was worth £10. Back end of winter, so wasn't expecting much, but assumed if they were charging £30 it would be at least passable, it wasn't. The chap in the shop was very nice and did offer cancellation the day before we played as only 13 holes were open, should have took him up on it. Won't be rushing back. Sadly I can't see it being worth playing in summer in decent condition......

Fairways are good and playable for winter golf but would not take much more rain, bunkers were very good, winter mats were ok but the greens were as good as somewhere have played in the summer. Overall well worth the money for winter golf and will be back to play it at its best in the summer

The course is in amazing condition for the time of year. Lots of work has been done to make sure of this.

Good course, well worth the money on a hot deal!

Greens were a little slow, but ran well.

Layout is fairly interesting. There's a lot of noise from factories on some holes.

Overall though, would defintely recommend!

This is a cracking course for a municipal, and for £13 you can’t do much better round Rotherham.

A last-minute game on a lovely sunny autumn day. The approach is inauspicious, and there is no clubhouse. Practice facilities are limited to a chipping area and putting green with 2 nets. But the course is in excellent condition and better than hitting a bucket of balls on the range.

Only thing is - it’s the seniors fiddle on Thursday morning and Ladies Day so unless you want to wait in line or play through 12 four balls like I did play another day.

Fairways and greens were lush but expected that due to heavy rain a few days earlier. Staff very friendly and course was a fair challenge. Greens mega receptive due to moisture. I fixed more pitch marks than just my own. Enjoyed it and will definitely play it again in summer to see how different it plays. Excellent low cost option.

This was a late decision to play because the weather was looking ropey. We decided at 11am on the day and I looked at Golf Now and found a fantastic 2pm hot deal at Phoenix Golf Club. The weather turned out beautiful; a bright and sunny/cloudy autumnal afternoon. A cheerful welcome in the pro shop and the course was in really good order. The 3 of us who played thoroughly enjoyed our round of golf and also enjoyed a pint in the bar afterwards.

Enjoyed game, nice course, shame first few holes near Steelworks but once passed great.

Good condition, greens nice pace, tees flat. Not much long rough so no trouble of fairway, would go again

Really enjoyed the round. Course was in good order and is challenging. We arrived early and the Pro kindly allowed us to play as soon as a slot was free. Thank you.
