Had a great round excellent course in very good condition
Course Review
So I played here today for the first time. First impressions nice set up lovely club house and good practice facilities (driving range, putting green and chipping area with bunker) the overall course layout was good maybe could be a bit more creative only one hole had water...fair ways were good some holes fairways were quite worn. Now the only bad comment was the greens. I felt the greens really let this course down. Very bobbly and bumpy also covered in leaves I know it's winter time but still a green covered in leaves isn't ideal. Played 8 over with an 8 handicap so can't of been that bad. Overall rating 7.5/10

Thank you for your review.
We were joined by a course manager here back in August who was previously at The London Club. The feedback we are receiving in regards to the condition of the course is fantastic.
We look forward to welcoming you back to take a look for yourself.
Could be better
The course as whole is grt but the greens were really bad. I first played there early spring and it was grt but has since gone down hill. Sorry.

Thank you for your review.

So many golfers on the course
Lovely course spoiled by an amazing number of golfers. The course owners seemed to have allowed double bookings for some times. Some courses allow starters on 10th hole to spread the load but not this one. At one hole there were two 4 balls and two 2 balls on the same hole. So glad to get home

Thank you for review.
We have come some way since you wrote this review.

Great course layout.
Good shaped greens, could be faster.
Staff really friendly and nice relaxed atmosphere.
forgiving fairways for the odd loose ball

Thanks for your good review.
We look forward to welcoming you back again soon
4 ball... 2nd June
The welcome was great, as was the food before our round. Course was challenging but fair. I've rated the course condition as 4 stars with just one criticism. It could have been 5 stars if the bunkers had sand in them. If you're unfortunate enough to find yourself in a bunker that should be the only penalty. Unfortunately in the bUnkers that myself and my 3 playing partners fell in to, most had literally 5-10mm of sand under the ball. Even where there is a depth of sand it's full of stones and of a poor quality. If Redlibbits fix this then they've got a five star course. That was the only disappointment in what otherwise was a lovely afternoon.

Thank you for your great review.
You'll be pleased to know that we are about to embark on a bunker renovation programme, so hopefully a 5 star from you next time you visit.
We shall look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Nice course
Despite the dry weather the course is in good condition, the greens were a little slow but true and receptive. It makes good use of the landscape but the downside is there's some steep slopes to walk up! Good mix of tight tree lined holes and open longer ones
Didn't go to the bar but would definitely play again

Thank you for your good review.
We are pleased you enjoyed the course. We do have buggies and electric trollies to hire from the Pro shop to make the course easier. We are currently running a 'buggy bliz' promotion - give us a call for more information.
We shall look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Good course
Interesting course with lots of great landscape and good looking holes.
Greens were in excellent condition but the Tee boxes need a bit of work and the bunker sand isn't great.

Thank you for your good review.

RyDyer golf
Golf with two ex-colleagues from work. First time playing the course so provided very good challenges throughout the round. The course was busy at the time we played so understandable for the slightly longer playing time. Sun was shining so happy to spend the time waiting.

Thank you for great review.
We shall look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Slightly Didappointing
Called the pro shop prior to playing to ask about condition of course especially the greens, was informed that the greens were in excellent condition and I would most definitely be pleased to have chosen redlibbets! If excellent greens translates roughly to the slowest greens I have ever played on in the last year then the pro was absolutely correct! In fairness they did run true but when you need a full driver for a 20ft putt consistency does seem quite tricky to attain. The pace of play was honestly quite painful which wouldn't be quite so bad if on every fairway the group behind didn't insist on driving off either while we were looking for our ball or standing over our approach shots to the green! The first 14 holes were very pleasant but it seemed 15/16 and 17 were crammed into a very small piece of land and kind of shoehorned in.
I think this has potential to be a really nice course with some interesting holes but I find it hard to understand how the greens could be this slow, which really made the round quite arduous and took away from our enjoyment if I'm honest.
I'm a scratch golfer and my score today was 74 playing off the yellow tees, Managed to make a single birdie putt which was literally a tap in on 14 and had 5 other opportunities that either stopped short on line or hit through the break , very frustrating!

Great course offering enough of a challenge
I've played RGC 2 or 3 times now and haven't been disappointed yet. I would recommend it to any golfer although the length may put off and out and out beginner. It offers a nice challenge but is forgiving with very few out of bounds areas from the tee box.
The greens play very well and are generally consistent around the course.
Friendly staff in the pro shop and always able to get a decent deal online for tee times.

Thank you for your great review.

Its a golf thing Innit
RGC is a lovely course, its views and layout are breath taking. I currently play at birchwood it’s an ok course, but sorry to say birchwood has nothing on this course. I didn't score great on the day but I really enjoyed my round that I am actually thinking of becoming a full member. If there is a fault or flaw it will be the greens, for a course this beautiful the greens are quite poor (way 2 bumpy).
Oh lastly food was great and so was the staff from pro shop to bar staff.
Thank you all.

Course etiquette by locals...?
It's November and the greens and fairways are still in good quick condition. Bunkers and grassy areas well kept. A couple of long challenging Par 4's for a woman. It's a shame the day was ruined by 2 4-balls ahead that were playing Greensomes and had no intention of letting a 2-ball through the entire round. 4 1/2 hours for a 2-ball with a nearly empty course ahead is just not fun in the rain.

Thank you for your review - Sorry you didn't have the best round.
The weather is still looking good and we have green fees form as little as £15pp.
We'll look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
