Regent Park Golf Club

Like playing in a wet swamp. On the first 9 wondered if they owned a mower. The tee boxes were 3 inches long couldn't see the difference between the fairways and the rough. Last 9 better and could see the potential - the pictures were obviously taken on a day that did not reflect a normal day.

Coring the greens 13 of the greens on temp and then told when I arrived it would of been cheaper to book direct teeoff times need to get a grip of this because a lot of clubs are now using BRS with no booking/ admin fee. Not very happy.

No words to describe this course really apart from its a golf course of a very poor standard,muddy tee boxes that have,nt seen a mower for weeks fairways sub standard full of water bad drainage being the problem here,bunkers full of weeds and what sand that is in these bunkers was hard and compact overall not a course to play decent golf on,if I was the professional here I would leave and find a job at a decent golf club.

Course layout was really nice with some interesting holes. Not too challenging, so ideal for a golfer with a mid-high handicap to have a social round. Encouraged a lot of risk taking in terms of driving greens.

Condition of the greens was good too, I've played more prestigious courses very recently that have been a lot worse.

The only downside is that the pathways and bunkers were poor quality and needed work. Clubhouse was old and shabby, we didn't want to stick around for a bite to eat afterwards.

Would I play it again? Yes probably.

Was our first time at the course so had no clue where the greens were and had no map on the score card and as it was hilly couldn't see a lot of the greens

I played this course a couple of years ago whilst it was under reconstruction. The 4 new holes are nice and the greens were decent.

The bunkers were very poor and a lot were unplayable being gur

I would play here again and have to say at £9 to play it was great value for money

Booked for £10 each for two.great time at 09.30.no play hold ups but bunkers need attention and greens had just been treated.great layout on new course design and nice easy walk.

Fantastic family friendly club. Took my son with me for his first full round and he loved every second. Great experience and amazing value for money at £14 for a full round for 2 players

The course was in ok condition, some bunkers needed alot of work, they had moss growing in them. The back nine were in better condition than the front nine. However what let the course/staff down was that I had booked to tee off at 07:03 and the gates were locked upon arrival the greenkeeper turned up at 7am and told me to just go out as I'd paid online. I was just finishing the 18th hole when a member aked if I had a ticket I said I didn't because noone was here when I arrived and was booked to play he told me that I should of gone in at 9am to speak to the pro. Which I find ridiculous as I was way out on the course at that point with a 3-ball behind me, so I should of come all across the course just to speak to someone that should of made sure they were there for the first tee that was booked then walk back out to the hole I was on and get stuck behind orhers! Makes no sense!

Some of bunkers contained more stones n gravel than actual sand. They even had a cheek to put a rake there as well.

The course was in great condition for the time of year.

Very enjoyable round not played for a while the new holes are bedding in nicely now
