Fabulous greens
Great, well cared for watered greens. The rest of the course (especially the more exposed front nine) are struggling to cope with the baking weather but overall we really enjoyed playing there.
Quality
I played this course for the first time on Sunday. Great course and quite challenging. The course and greens were in excellent condition. Good driving range to warm up and a lovely carvery available after. Will definitely play here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good round of golf.
Course in good condition despite sun decided to disappear for the last 10 days . Will be returning soon
Poor etiquette from members
Poor etiquette from members of the club was the only downside to a really great local course, so I advise to try and get on when it's quiet. Affordable and a good mix bag of holes.
Great course. Great value
Having played this course several times it represents great value for money and a good test for hitting accurate. Whilst not hhe longest every hole gives pause for thought. Back 9 gets tougher so keeps you focused. This course provides opportunities to score well but will punish you for loose shots. Fairways and greens good as well as true. Nice surrounding's. Will be going back. Highly recommended whatever your handicap.
Richings Park
Thoroughly enjoyed this course I and my playing partners will return. Layout was interesting meaning you needed to carefully plan your way around course was in good nick and the staff were helpful. One slight criticism the course needs some next tee signs , other than that a great day.
Excellent course
I played in the late afternoon mid week and it was quiet quite. Greens and course in lovely condition. Quite a bit of background noise due to proximity of M4 and Heathrow airport. But i look forward to returning soon.
Great Course !!!
Wow did not expect the course to be in such a great condition and I would definitely recommend playing there if you have a chance. I give it an 9 out 10 for value , great fairways and really superb greens.
Lovely
Really enjoyed the course, even a little bit of rain didn't ruin the game, we will come back again
Picturesque back 9
The course opens up with a short par 4 which is best suited for an iron for position to leave a gap wedge onto the green. The next 5 holes are ok but are the higher stroke index's as quite open. the course comes to life at the 7th hole with a dogleg left with water waiting to catch an errant tee shot for those trying to cut the corner off. Water comes into play on a lot of the back 9 and the last is a treat through a narrow entrance so you need to be on the short stuff. A good round with friendly staff and course in good condition considering the amount of rain we have had and the time of the year. Well worth a vist
Great condition in winter
The course was in fantastic condition even after all the rain recently. Great value @£15 each.
Playable all year
Have played here a number of times and this weekend the weather prior to the round had been 24 hours of rain.
The course is playable all year round and out of 18 greens only two had standing water. An achievement given the rain that we had.
I have been to other courses where in winter you are not allowed push carts. Never had this problem here. There were people out in motorized carts (surprises me why you would bother as not a difficult walking course).
I know I will still get a game here as winter rolls on, whilst many other courses will shut up shop for the wettest months.
Compact
Small and tight. needs accuracy for a good score.
