Rufford Park Golf & Country Club

Had a great round at Rufford Park. Excellent value for money and easy to book. The course is very picturesque, set in parkland. Well spaced out so very little noise from fellow players on other holes. Great variety of holes - over water/parkland/up and down fairways and undulating greens etc. Made the round enjoyable and challenging at the same time. Would recommend without hesitation and will definitely return.

Excellent day out from start to finish. Beautiful setting, challenging holes. Great fun. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Played Rufford Park and found the course in good condition.

There are some interesting holes and a nice par3 signature hole that plays on to an island green .

The course is fairly easy going and suitable for all levels of player.

The pace got a little slow towards the end of the round but no worse than other courses.

Had a chat with some of the staff who were really friendly.

Would I recommend Rufford? Yes I would good value for money.

Have a drink and a bite to eat after the round on the terrace with stunning views over the course

I purchased this round for my dads birthday, the tee time I booked was 13:12pm, due to waiting for the group before to tee off we didn't tee off until 13:25pm, unfortunately this was a sign of things to come, the front 9 took 3 and a half hours to complete due to the pace of play, at one point there was 3 groups stood waiting on a tee and 2 groups playing the hole, it was ridiculous, the round was completely unenjoyable due to being constantly stood waiting to play our next shot. We had to leave and walk off at the 16th as we ran out of time and had a booking elsewhere which we would of missed, I've never ever played such a slow round of golf in my life and I feel like it was a complete waste of money especially as we traveled quite a while to play the course, very disappointing.

Course layout excellent, just a bit disappointed about the 17th not playing from proper tee, but other wise no complaints from our party.

Hugely disappointing the 17th is out of action! Other than that all good and greens running really well for time of year.

Great local golf course to me but the first time I played it, was brilliant, lovely condition, great weather, and a handful of pars and a birdie on the 18th so all round happy days, very nicely designed holes, can’t wait to go again

Played here many times over the years and it hasn’t changed much. Course in great condition and the bits that wasn’t you could see they were working on it. Good value for money, friendly staff,decent range, it’s no wonder I end up playing here every year.

Golf course in good condition will definitely play it again in the near future

Very nice course not particularly trying but still enjoyable

The course was great but the speed of play was bad due to 4 balls greatly outweighing 2 balls moving much faster.

If some kind of marshal control at the first T was employed it may ensure start times are controlled better, it will certainly make us think twice about coming back.

Took my son for the first time as I no this is a great course for beginners.. good fairways and good greens for time of year and considering the rain we’ve had .. only played 12 holes due to time of year and getting dark.. we had a great time .. only set back was a four ball in front.. they tee off at 13-05 and we tee off at 13-36 after two holes we was behind them and would not let us play through.. sad really .. if they’re let us play through we might have made the 18 holes and got to play the 17th which is a brilliant par 3 over water .. but never mind .. great course in great condition .. big thumbs up
