Good challenge

Very busy but was Saturday - nice challenging course as water hazards, narrow fairways and small greens.

Would at again

Great course & a good challenge

Good narrow fairways but dry ground so got good run out with my clubs. Well kept course, links style. Have to be accurate but good for a challenge.

Good value for money

Thought this was a good price for a round of 18. Plenty of cross over though between the holes so have to be aware of others playing on different holes and not all signage was clear on where to go for each hole. Overall though enjoyed the course and some testing holes. Would go again

Keith

Nice coarse holes very misleading but that's what golf is all about, great greens, maybe needs more signs to show where the next hole is, all in all very nice, will be back again I'm sure.

Nice

Unforgiving course for a beginner but nice. Seems to be a slight bottleneck on holes 16,17,18.

Overall Good

Overall it was a good experience. Course markers were not always clear on where to go next but some challenging /different holes compared to other courses I have played on. Would go back again for the same price but there was a lot of crossing over with other players too that had to be coordinated.

Great value

Scalm Park was first recommended to me by an Angler and Cricketer - who happened to play golf. Scalm Park is a caravaning.camping leisure complex with on-site fishing and golf. It's a tidy short course - there are some close parallel fairways and a higher-than-average number of casual golfers so you need to exercise extra caution as the odd errant ball lands on your fairway. Overall the course is fun - there is a water course on one side and the odd fishing lake doubling as a water hazard. he fairways are mostly narrow but without penalty for straying onto the next fairway. The course is suited to walking and keeps the better golfer alert too.

(When Covid-19 is behind us), the clubhouse offers great pub food and a good choice of beer. There's also a driving range.

Good value for money - played three times to date.

Unusual setting but value for money.

Didn’t know what to expect as this course sits within a leisure park. Mainly caravans as you drive through to the car park. To be fair the course was quiet when we played. Some interesting and testing features. Lost a ball or two. But overall great value for money. Loved the 2nd hole over the water. Would return.

Strange times to play golf!!

Found this little gem of a place. Due to lockdown/extreme weather, greens needed some work but generally speaking, course was in good nick. Plenty of water dotted around the place and some nice holes. Couple of times you have to be careful walking from green to tee as you walk across other holes (17th to 18th as an example). Not much too look at in the shop and other facilities closed due to Covid 19. All in all, would go back again, once we're all back to normal!

Little hidden gem

First time me and my friend played this course and it was brilliant.it was nice and flat, the greens were well kept and the fairways are like carpet. Had a really nice round the only problem seemed to be was every other person seemed to be in a massive rush to finish. Its ok to be quick but its not speed golf. Apart from that its a great little place and would recommend it to any one
