Scalm Park Golf Club

This course is obviously aimed at the budget market and you get what you pay for

Greens small and cut sporadically, weeds border all greens, tees need attention and fairways inconsistent in grass growth no definition throughout the course

Could be a nice course with investment and attention but obviously lacks investment, suits high handicaps and beginners

Good course with something to suite all standards. Course in good shape , tee boxes need a bit of work. Great value for money

Greens in very good condition, good fairways and semi rough cut short ,all ladies tees in good condition but a few mens tees require attention,the bunkers require a raking or tidying

up every couple of days .

Wish other golfers would not leave empty bottles and cans chucked in the bushes.

Overall a good value for money course.

everything about playing scalm park was very good the only let down was when l went to the bank and found out that GOLF NOW had taken two payments out of my bank instead of just one l was not happy and it shouldnt happen. The staff at Scalm park were excellent and one told Golf Now had done it to someone else the day after

Lovely course. Good condition. Some very nice holes. Not overly long but challenging.

Good value for money and will hopefully return for more.

Nicely laid out course in good condition with good amenities and friendly staff.

Enjoyed our first round at Scalm Park. Interesting layout of varied holes. Course in good nick with plenty of out of bounds to keep you on your toes. Only letdown was the tees which could do with a bit of tlc.

Nice, tidy course with open fairways, decent greens and manageable rough. Some testing water, bunkers and out of bounds to add some interest, variety and keep you on your game.

Part of a caravan/chalet complex with overnights stays and fishing available too.

4 ball holding up 2 ball , 2 ball , 3 ball , 4 ball over 2 holes behind the group . Tee’s in poor condition wouldn’t play again for £20

Really nice round of Golf. Slight step up in challenge for me as a newbie, but enjoyed it. Nice to see the Bar nice and busy (outside) after the round as well! Definitely worth the money!

Played here today and enjoyed my round, not held up once, conditions were nice, and staff very friendly, i do just want to say i played here a year or two ago n the greens we're shocking and this is my first round since due to that, but ive got to say the greens were in excellent condition, soft and spongey and ran true so glad they have got that sorted because Scalm is a nice course if you just want a steady round with some testing holes, the only thing i would say is the 3rd hole needs sign posting better as you have to come back on yourself and round a corner from the 2nd which i'd forgotten.

All in all decent course but would'nt pay no more than £20 for a round here.
