To sum up this course I’d say it needs serious investment.

The driving range is in poor condition with shabby mats, the club house seemed to be full of drunks shouting and singing!

The course is long and straight, with the same feel one hole after an other after an other, there is very little in the way of hazards or design to the course, by the 12th hole we was getting pretty bored.

On our visit the greens were terrible, very patchy and black making putting for par near impossible, the bunkers had very little sand and the fairways needed a cut.

Overall I’d say it’s cheap enough for a blast with the lads, but there’s way better locally for the same money.

Flat course, nice fairways, greens suffering a little due to dry weather. Overall good course for the price.

Unfortunately course is in poor condition. Tee boxes very uneven and greens going very bald in places.

Good test of golf not the easiest to find the best sign posted course and some of the layout isn’t easy to navigate but course at moment is in good Nick

As a relatively new golfer ( I have been playing 18 months) I would definitely recommend this course. Pace of play was very slow due to so many people on the course but I expected that on Bank Holiday Monday. Big plus is that it is a really interesting course with plenty of different holes. I will definitely play there again.

could not fault the course! fairways were in good condition and the green were well maintained and running rapid. The only downfall unfortunately was my short game. fat, thin, shank, topped, i did them all. no fault of the course i am just rubbish!

The course is really nice and seems to be maintained fine.

There were a few holes where the grass in the greens seemed uneven, making putting unpredictable.

The drainage seems good on the course as it wasn’t too wet under foot even though the weather has been abit wet recently.

Will be back for sure.

Played this course 4 times now and it never gets boring, credit to the scalm crew great course spectacular greens for this time of year !!!

This is a great little course, nice wide fairways on some holes and some quite tight (2 and 10) so overall a good mixture of difficulty. Also the halfway house is well positioned right next to the 10th hole which means you can have a quick pit stop then carry on.

Great weather and course in good condition for this time of year. Another great round!
