The course layout. Photo submitted by arc1886 on 09/19/2021
Not just for puffins
Wind was strong but course was in great condition ..once you get to know where your going its good .the par 3 the cove is one of the best holes ive ever played .and i parred it ..deffo worth a visit .
Seahouses
Fantastic course and best greens I’ve putted on all year
we’ll be back next year aswell can’t wait
bit windy but can’t help the weather still awesome course and views
Seahouses
Challenging course par67 nice coastal views greens good would play again booked on golf now
Nice course in good condition
Seahorses is always good test of golf, particularly when it’s windy. The greens were in excellent condition and the course was presented nicely. Pace of play was slow due to poor playing etiquette from two 4-ball groups backing up the play by not invitingly groups who had caught them up to ‘play through’. Otherwise a great golfing experience,
Seaside links
Great views, greens excellent, course lay out somewhat weird but very sociable
Excellent Links experience
Not the longest course but tight enough but a great layout and challenge for a capabilities. A couple of iconic holes such as 10,15,16 .
Greens in phenomenal shape through out but loaded with Public Rights of Way!
Staff great and decent facilities!
Will be back!
Golf by the sea
Seahouses is an interesting little course, a tightly packed 18 holes where you share a number of fairways. The course played hard, dry and fast which added to the links experience. In general the course is well maintained, the greens were immaculate, the only downside is the number of walkers at certain parts of the course which make it harder to concentrate.
Brilliant course!
Well what can I say… picked up a ‘Hot Deal’ whilst away on my holidays in Beadnell and what a gem this course is. Greens are some of the best that I’ve played on this year so credit to the green keepers for keeping them in awesome condition during the very dry weather we have been having.
Quite a short course but plenty of challenges and some very beautiful, picturesque holes, especially 10 and 15.
Pace was sometimes slow due to mixed fairways and holes crossing over each other but not bothered because of the views you have while waiting!
Would 100% come back and recommend to anyone who is in the area.
Proper seaside links course
Very fast when we played. Greens were in great condition.
Great course fantastic views
Got lucky with the weather as a warm day with a bit of breeze. Some of the holes a bit criss cross so not always easy to know which direction to hit tee shot plus balls often found way on to the wrong fairway. Having played it before we worked out where the next holes were as the course flits over to the other side of the road for 3 to 8. The back 9 is links. Holes 10 and 15 are superb par 3’s. Enjoyed the golf and pleasant drink after..
Gem
Played with my son in law, Tom, setting off just before 8 on Friday. Glorious weather. Course quiet at first but got steadily busier.
Have played at Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh many times. Wasn't sure about Seahouses. Doesn't look very inspiring from road but boy was I wrong, and will look forward to playing again in future. Some great challenging par threes and stunning views by the sea. Very good condition and very reasonably priced.
Main downside is several shared fairways and may get quite congested at busy times, but nevertheless this course is a gem. Highly recommended.
Seahouses golf club
Played many times still a very good test for any handicap.
Condition very good , greens topdraw.
Brilliant course
Great course mixture of links/parkland stunning views. Went back the day after to play again would certainly return if in the area again
Well maintained
The course was in good condition. My only criticism would be that several holes are close to each other as are the tees. It was not always clear where we were heading nor the etiquette in who tees off first and should we wait until both groups have played their first shots.
