This course will never let you down.
This is the 5/6th time we have played here and it is always in great condition. All of the fairways and greens were immaculate. For the price I don’t think there’s another golf course that comes close.
This golf course is no ruin
It’s a small clubhouse but has everything you need. Staff were incredibly helpful. Car park was very bust but that’s a product of how popular it’s become. Surprisingly large selection of Dunstanburgh branded merch. The course isn’t particularly long but the weather is its secret weapon, when it’s windy it’s a real challenge. The course itself is in great condition, the greens are lightning fast. Play it now before it gets any busier. We had a great afternoon on this scenic delight of a course.
Fantastic course amazing views
Always enjoyable playing Dunstanburgh, the course was in amazing condition given the wet winter. The views are like no other in the North Of England.
Only problem was the amount of players on the course never seen so many, and the etiquette was questionable, two groups in front of us played the last four holes as a six ball. Lots of swearing could be heard around the clubhouse and putting greens before teeing off. Not sure if handicap certificates are even required anymore.
Think a course Marshall would help improve the Dunstanburgh experience even more. Maybe a starter to help with course etiquette and guidelines. Think Dunstanburgh could afford these roles no problem.
Spectacular setting, great condition
Course location is stunning. As ever it was in excellent condition, especially given the time of year.
Great condition
The course was in really good condition with the greens looking great and fast.
great place
19th hole was closer when we finished
The views
I'm relatively new to golf but this is without doubt the best golf course I've ever played. It'll take some beating. I was first out on the day and had the entire course to myself.
The views are incredible, especially on the run from 10 to 13.
I played late February and the course was in amazing condition given the time of year. All greens were in play and in excellent shape. Can't wait to go back.
Absolutely stunning condition considering we played in late December, course is getting better every year. Green complexes were all closely mown and greens running true. No winter greens and no fairway matts.
We played mainly from forward tee's with matt's on some tee boxes but still easily tee the ball up no problem. Putting and chipping greens are great. No range or netts as yet.
Little Gem
Great little track , played on a day when a lot of courses were closed. Great staff with a warm welcome . Worth the 70 min drive for £40 on a Saturday
Epic wonderful
Late in the year water on the greens. It was firm under foot. Greens had pace and rolled true. 2 holes off but understandably with the weather.
excellent
Loved it, great course. You need facilities to clean your buggy and shoes at the end. And I asked the women when I arrived where the 1st hole was and she said she didn't know which wasn't great. Overall loved the course and I'll definitely be back.
Great Links golf
First impressions were that the course had great facilities as the clubhouse was busy with mom golf members who had been walking the dunes having either coffee before my round and when finished had lunch customers. The course was well layed out and the views were amazing especially those in which were facing towards the castle. Personally my favourite was the short par 3 13th due to the views but also add risk of the public footpath was below and to your left of the green and added and element of needed to get ot over and on the green. Would highly recommend for any visitors to Northumberland who love playing links golf and want good value for money.
What a stunning golf course!!
Wonderful course!! Condition of the greens is spectacular, the rest of the course follows suit. Views are beautiful, was there very early, first away in fact, so the green keeps qere still out, and I had the misfortune of the sandy greens. However, this did not spoil my enjoyment of this course. Some amazing holes, the 13th par 3 is lovely.
On the whole, a great course, fantastic condition, brilliant tee boxes and greens. Well worth the greens fee.
