Great day out

We had a lovely warm sunny day , with no wind, to play Seahouses. Have played before in gale-like conditions so today was perfect for golf. Fairways & greens were good & most unusually played the 2 quirky par 3s' very well so was well chuffed. Also beating my husband was the icing on the cake. Day somewhat marred by a less than average meal in the clubhouse. Not cheap & not really a good way to end our day. Quality needs improving to match the golf course.

Beautifully scenic course

Had the pleasure of playing Seahouses golf course and was really impressed with it overall, holes #10 and #15 are 2 of the best par 3's to look at aswell as play, some shared fairways was the only downside to a very enjoyable round of golf.

Windy weather

Great day, Great Course, but.

First of all, it was a pleasure to play here, the greens were true, the state of the course was excellent I have absolutely no complaints about that, the only problem we had we were behind a 4 ball of "elderly" members and their pace of play was "Tortoise" speed, the course was empty in front of them, perhaps the committee could remind member s regarding etiquette around slow play as the overall rating would've been a 5.

Brilliant winter golf

Really enjoyed Seahouses. £20, made to feel really welcome, full course on despite the rain, proper greens and a half time cuppa and bacon sarnie.

Perfect.

Staff were really friendly and excellent!!

Golfing during lock down

Advised to phone up to early morning to get update of course after heavy rain over the weekend. The course was open but only 12 holes, travelled up from Newcastle to be greeted by very friendly staff, holes 3-8 over the road were closed, but this didn't spoil the days golf, as we played 12-16 twice.

The holes were playing off forward tee but all greens were in play, course had plenty of character and weather was fine with slight breeze blowing off the sea, making the signature hole, The Cove, very interesting, but walked off with a birdie.

Well worth the drive up from Newcastle upon Tyne.

Weather too much for a full round

I couldn't of picked a worse day to play.

That said I enjoyed all the holes I did play, (front 9). I'm gutted the wind and rain was too much for me to do the back 9 as it looked stunning just to gaze upon.

Overall the course is tight and technical for a higher handicaper like me but a joy to play.

Staff in the club house were friendly as we're people I saw out on the course. I'd play again if I get a chance in finer weather.

Stunning Views

Played the course for about the sixth time.Always play here when I visit Northumberland. The greens but other clubs to shame and the views particularly on the back nine adjacent to the sea are second to none. Also good value for money.
