Fantastic course
Really enjoyed my first experience at this course. I will definitely be back 👍
Really enjoyed my round here. Played an early morning slot whilst away with family. Clubhouse doesn’t open till 9am but not a problem as had what I needed and garmin for recording score. (There may have been scorecards left out to pick up but didn’t see any).
7th hole (downhill par 4) an obvious highlight but all holes very good. Greens also in good condition and certainly fast enough.
Chatted with some members afterwards and all very friendly. Would definitely play again when back in the area.
Birthday golfthoroughly enjoyable
Thoroughly enjoyable but lots of distractions including people crossing and cars .you had to be very aware of the surroundings at all times but would happily play again.
Perfect start to the day
Loved this historic 9 holer. Played early on a cloudless morning in mid-July. Lovely links turf, greens in fantastic condition, friendly staff. Holes 4 through 7 were the highlight, with the approach to the 5th a particularly special spot. Played 9 for £25, and would very happily have done a second loop had time allowed.
Oldest Course we have played
1869 is the course age so incredible it’s here to still be enjoyed, 4th oldest club in England.
The course just off the village centre and runs around the coast of the North Sea.
Really pretty setting, superb greens which I would say were competition standard, fairways excellent too.
Wind was 20 mph so brisk but it made it a little more challenging. On the first 5 holes if you stray right you are on the beach and on the left of the course is punishing rough, plenty of room up the middle though so only punishes the most wayward shots.
I will 100% go again as it felt like a slice of history we were playing on.
A canny little course
A very nicely turned out nine hole course with some tricky holes.
Great location
Been many times and it never disappoints. Staff / food / course / location / value all top class.
Great course
Alnmouth village course is a lovely little course that is challenging but great to play, staff ore friendly and the course is in immaculate condition well done everyone involved in running this great links course
Beautiful course on the Northumberland coast
Great course very challenging
Greens are excellent
A jewel of a course
Absolutely outstanding course, in immaculate condition for this time of year and the views are as good as anything you’ll find on the Northumberland coast.
Great Condition
Considering the rain we've had the course is as good as it gets.
Teeboxes were off but all greens on and were good.
Fantastic views from 7th tee especially.
Lovely pint of Guinness in clubhouse served by friendly staff.
Defo return on a winter hotdeal.
Special place
We love going to Alnmouth Village as it’s a super friendly place where the course is always the best it can be. Fantastic value for money.
Alnmouth village golf club. Little gem!
First visit to alnmouth village golf club due to our course being closed yet again.
Proper little gem this course! Even managed to get a buggy too. One of our players needs a buggy due to knackered knees, he’s not had a round for over 3 months…
Course in fantastic condition considering the weather we’ve had. Gorgeous views over alnmouth bay. Greens hadn’t been cut for a couple of days but still lightning quick compared to our course.
100% getting a winter membership up here this year. Would have a full membership if it wasn’t so far away.
Highly recommended 👍🏼
Really good condition given the time of year
Was really pleasantly surprised at how good the course and its condition was. Would definitely recommend. Club house and staff were very good also. Parking can be difficult so get there in plenty of time to get parked and enjoy a coffee.
