The course layout. Photo submitted by arc1886 on 09/19/2021
Seahouses golf course
Nice course especially the back 9 only spoilt for me by a couple of fairways crossing and shared fairways.
Great value
Nice course, friendly staff and great beer..perfect day
Happy returns!
Should have been fishing but the weather was against me. Booked a hot deal at Seahouses instead. Played it before and always a pleasure. No different. Paired up with a nice guy from Sandwell and had a lovely round. A couple of beers on the veranda and never missed the fishing at all. Always worth a visit if you’re up that way.
Well kept course
Staff were very welcoming. Course good except holes across main road a bit boring. Ones on sea side much more challenging. Nice food choice afterwards.
Enjoyed
Many positives but got a little confused with layout at times - thankfully there is a map on the card. Also lots of friendly help from locals on the course to point us in the right direction. Enjoyed the course.
Challenging course in the wind
Really friendly staff. Practise net and putting green. Good food in the clubhouse. Trolley rental £3 and they have buggies. Course is pretty challenging in the wind. Some lovely holes and views are fantastic. Would play again.
Great course
it was a busy day with all slots booked. But we had a great day. Some really quirky house. Over water and links fairways. Great stuff. We will play again.
Escaped the Rain
Always enjoy playing this course.
Fairways not quite as good as normal.
Got in and then it started raining.
Ambience is always good here.
Also Good for eating/drinking.
Great coastal views.
Great little course. Lovely back nine overlooking the coast. Excellent greens very quick but true. Very enjoyable. Staff very friendly.
Great coarse
Such a lovely back nine with some great par threes. Staff are really friendly.
Some great holes but when the wind blows............
Played as a two ball at 3.00pm. Warm welcome in lovely clubhouse. Course in the main is on the cliffs and when the wind blows as it did for our round its quite a challenge. The downside is that the fairways to holes 2,9,17 and 18 are virtually one fairway in very poor condition . Holes 3 to 8 are in a field over a road and are quite squeezed in but ok. The real test comes on holes 10 to 16. These are out on the cliffs and a real test. Hole15 a short par 3 over the beach is great. Great views to Farne Islands and Bamburgh. Greens in good condition as were the tees and fairways apart from those mentioned above.. Probably wouldn't choose to play again as other course to try locally but if in the area the would say give it a go.
Great links course
We had a warm welcome lovely breakfast then sunshine for a good round of golf, the perfect day.
Just perfect ...
Great weather and great golf.
Went at our own pace as no one in front or behind.
A good wind made holes testing ,especially on the more exposed 13,14,15,16 holes which meant accurate clubbing essential.
Played four days in a row in all weather and had a thoroughly enjoyable week-thanks seahouses we will be back in October!
Great course for all abilities.
Son and I played and loved the course, scenery and the short par 3’s.
They have a green tee which is is ahead of the reds for youngsters which was perfect for a beginner and great to build their confidence .
Stay here every year and first time the golf clubs have come with us -definately not the last.
Thanks for a great few days.
Excellent course condition greens brilliant
Played at 10:30 in the morning and had course to ourselves. Greens were excellent condition, true with great pace for beginning of April.
Rest of course in good condition.
Everyone friendly; members and staff alike.
Course is fun to play as it’s not long although you need to be aware of red flags out and yellow in!
Stayed at Links Hotel, great food. We broke our journey down from Scotland, well worth doing.
