Springwater Golf Club

Started well, but the course was very busy and by the 10th it we had to wait for 2 lots of players before we could tee off. Decided enough was enough and walked in.

Very nice course in excellent condition but a very hilly course and fairways have a lot of downward lies or uphill depending how the ball lies not a great course for 20 plus handicapers ,some holes are blind to green and no course managment on tee boxes so if your 1st time its very difficult to manage your shots but all in all a good course but you certainly need a buggy.

Have played Springwater several times before, and there's a reason we're prepared to travel 50 miles to play it again. Every hole has its challenges, but not insurmountable for high-handicap players.

The walk can be demanding for less robust golfers, a buggy is recommended if not reasonably fit (I'm 67 and of average fitness/health).

The course was in fabulous condition, the staff were as ever very helpful and welcoming - I'll keep coming to this gem of a club.

Played here on a Sunday and the weather was brilliant and the course was also in great condition. Some interesting holes and the greens were in great condition and played quick. Didn't get a chance to go into the clubhouse, but I know from previous visits that there are very good facilities.

Greens in fantastic condition, quite fast compared to other courses around the area. If your a big hitter there’s quite a few driveable par 4s on this course which makes it fun!! Only negative is that it’s quite hilly and there’s quite a few blind holes but there clearly marked where to hit your drive for best position into the green. Love this course!!!

Slow play at times, but for the money this is a great course I recommend any1 to play it

Even though played on own and at the course for the first time really enjoyed the entire experience. Friendly members and staff! Course was in superb condition, expessically the greens. Overall great experience and looking to book again with friends

A very well looked after course and excellent value for money with a great view. I will certainly be visiting this course again.

Course was in great condition. Greens on the most part were well looked after ( a few divots not being repaired by players)

Only scored pace of play average due to a few short par 4 holes which are driveable and therefore a wait for green to clear before the big hitter in the group ( not me ) could play.

A little disappointed with the greens - lots of unprepared pitch marks. The bunkers were not good either with previous players not bothering to smooth their footprints. We followed a society who were very slow but overall the course was in good condition. The fairways are good and the rough is lush. A good test of golf.

Played here several times and always enjoyed it. The course was in the best condition I’ve ever seen. Greens were receptive, true and quick. Pace of play was a bit slow, but it was a pleasant afternoon so not an issue

Second time I have played this course, greens in excellent conditions even after all the rain. Reception service a little slow but to be expected due to limited staff.

Pace of play could have been quicker ( 3hrs 45mins for a 2ball) as we were held up on nearly every hole!

Some interesting holes which requires you to think about shot selection.

Some challenging holes with this course the greens and fairways are in excellent condition second time iv played this course and second time iv enjoyed it will be comong back again soon. This course is hilly and a nice workout while playing golf
