A Wondrous golf course with challenging holes, perfect greens and views to die for.

This is simply a hidden gem that must be played! I was made to feel very welcome and the food is amazing. I will be returning very soon.

Very nice greens and well looked after . My only gripe is it isn’t 18 holes , its a 9 hole course. Having the tees off slightly different positions when you do the back 9 doesn’t make it a different hole ( not in my opinion ) .

what a little gem of a course lovely lay out and in great condition from tee to green a real test for the high or low handicap with near to perfect greens and sweeping fairways the only shame is that you don’t play all the holes twice 👍a definite value for money course and the staff were real friendly aswell all in all 10/10

I don't really know where to start, this is a very impressive set up, I've played and spectated at some of the best championship courses the UK has to offer, this 10 hole set up rivals any of them, the condition of the course was exceptional, every hole has well cared for tee boxes, some holes having multiple tee locations to obviously rest tees and give them time to recover, the fairways are precisely cut and are as good as any playing surface I've ever encountered, to the point where if you cannot strike a golf ball from the lie encountered this is because of your lack of ability and not course conditions, the green keeping staff are a true credit to this venue, the greens ran perfectly true and at a very good speed, you can really tell that this course isn't just run by a fast buck money making venture, but by an ex European ladies tour player who clearly wants people to experience the the best playing conditions her and her team can provide. The off course amenities are also very impressive, a very modern club house with both indoor and outdoor seating areas, all the staff were extremely welcoming and down to earth, you could chat and see this wasn't forced, but generally happy to be part of this environment. Please please please go and experience this course for yourselves, you will not be disappointed, I without hesitation would recommend stanedge to anyone, this is a gem of a course that needs to thrive.

Little hidden gem cut into the Derbyshire countryside.

I played a round today here, after not playing here for many years. I was absolutely blown away. I play a lot of courses both in Derbyshire and up and down the country with my work. This is by far the best condition I have played on all year. Yes, it may be a ten hole facility but it is a "proper" golf course and a challenge. This should be recognised as a leading golf course!

It was lovely to sit out after my round; the food was fantastic with a great menu choice. Very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will most certainly be back!

After seeing the course at the end of last October, all I can say is 10/10! Everything about the course was fantastic, the greens were superb and the weather helped too. Nice to see that they now have buggies available. If you haven't played Stanedge; you need to go. The whole set up is first class.

Booked for "18 holes" only to find out theres only 10 holes. Tried to cancel my booking but unable to so was charged fully despite not playing. Wasn't travelling that far for 10 holes, played Bury Golf Club instead which was 18 holes and great

Fairly straight forward course with amazing views. Would say these are about the most challenging greens I've come across so far. As a novice overall the course was very playable.

Lovely little course despite being only 10 holes. Challenging as these types of courses so often are. Fantastic scenery on a day like this. Very smart club house and locker rooms. Great staff and food.

As most people say a little gem looked after we'll lush fairways.

Immaculate conditions stunning course and friendly clubhouse

Such a lovely little gem. Everything about my day was perfect from arrival to leaving. The staff were so friendly. And had a lovely chat with the owner plus the course was in excellent condition too. Will definitely be returning for golf and bring friends to try out the restaurant
