South Chesterfield Golf Club

Bottle neck by hole 3 with 2 groups already waiting to play the Par3. Gave up after 4 holes. Possibly bad luck and got lousy golfers in front but no fun standing waiting around like that.

Great course lovely greens and nice layout to the course and the club house etc

Hoofed it down during play but really enjoyed it still. Varied holes with lovely greens. Nice to see grass on fairways back after extended dry spell.

Locals and staff friendly.

A nice open course that can test you if you want tobtey the long shots but not overwhelming for the newcomer to golf, a fine balance.

Only dissapointment was that the clubhouse was closed just after 1700 when we were considering a coffe to warm up and something stonger for a social.

Really enjoyed the course and the facilities. It’s not too difficult either so great for higher handicapped player as well as good players

The course is great, considering the current conditions, with open fairways and multiple dog legs, it was great to play on.

The club itself is a let down. We requested a golf buggy due to one of our players having limited mobility. This was approved but on the day, they then said we couldn’t have it as it was past a deadline, which was never highlighted when we booked it. They let us have the golf buggy after I had questioned it. Then whilst playing, they turned up and said we had to hand the golf buggy back in. When we asked if we would get a refund, we were told we would, so the assistance at the club took our player back who had limited mobility as he was unable to finish the remainder of the course.

The following day, we requested our refund and they denied it, stating we had taken too long to complete our round. Even after stating we had someone with limited mobility, they said it wasn’t their issue. Wouldn’t play here again, especially with the customer service.

Course generally in great condition, greens receptive, nicely positioned water hazards and bunkers, scenic views, not too long although some par 4's uphill into the wind are challenging. Great value for money friendly clubhouse and good practice facilities

The fairways are in good condition as were the tee boxes.A little disappointed that the greens were sanded this late on but had been rolled as well to make them faster.Staff in shop friendly can’t comment on other amenities as did not use them

Went for a round and then popped into the trackman driving range .wow what a set up for golfers brand new building by the the looks of it and friendly helpful staff to help you,even got a bit of free advice from the fitting guy.If you are wanting new clubs you need to come here first for a fitting,it's well worth spending the money before buying clubs that aren't right for you.

All good except Greens a bit firm could do with a bit of water , pace of play a bit slow but that's golf some days ⛳👍

Great course very well maintained greens where fantastic fairways as well all round great experience will definitely be coming back

Greens rock hard in need of water, tees need cutting to long, pace very slow 4 hours for a two ball
