Always a good day out, course is tricky but fun, staff always great.
Decent course, unfortunate condition
Played this course many times
It has some decent holes. Some picturesque view of London
Always used to enjoy playing here, speng decent money on improving its facilities and looks.
But it has over the last couple of years very very slow play.
Teed off 20 minutes later than my expected tee times.
Nearly 4:30 for a round.
Remember teed off at 14:08.. lucky to finish in daylight
Admittedly lot of wind and rain previous day. So very soggy on several fairways, temp green cut out of fairway completely joke.
Tees cut up and soggy and one or two uneven.
This is was not the course I grew up on very disappointed.
Showers excellent, bar well stocked and friendly staff.
Hopefully in a month of doing will be back to its best. Must do something about slow play
Well kept
I enjoy playing Stanmore as it is always in good condition . Very seldom get slow play and groups are good to let you play through
Great course, slow paced.
Im not the best golfer, but this is not a beginners course, alot of uphill holes, as there were far too many people hacking up the fairways , causing extremely slow play, at 1 point there were 3, 2 balls waiting to t off in the same hole.
The young guy in pro shop told me it was dead on the course, it was packed.
Slow play
I started my round and at the 2 hole 4 young men let me play through , I continued on and on 7 th Caught up with another 4 and they let me through . Then on 13 th caught up with4 senior men and they ignore me . Even though was right up behind them after standing on the tee while they walked to their 2 shot .

This is a nice course and would be excellent in the summer. No temp greens so really good
Good condition course
The round was so slow that we only played 9 holes, but the course was in good condition for the end of December.
Great condition for this time of year, not a long course but a few up hill shots onto greens make it tricky, greens are fantastic, a few dogleg holes too, overall very enjoyable course.
Played here before, dont remember it being this good condition, its a short course but a few uphill holes make it seem longer, with raised greens. Greens are in perfect condition, fast and true.

good test for a intermediate golfer largely due to its location on the side of a hill with several significant climbs
Excellent Course
I’ve played this course several times before but I’ve never seen it looking as good as this. The greens were in superb condition and super fast. The rest of the course was looking exceptional. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Course was in great condition greens really nice they've spent a bit of money in improving the outside seating area and just spent a lot on sprinkler system overall a good round of golf
Friendly staff course quiet and in good condition
Booked tee time for 15.14 got off straight away have played here before but some money has been spent on club house and course in very nice condition the greens in particular. Good mixture of holes a few challenging drives and picturesque locations.
In all well worth £20 and the staff in pro shop could t have been any friendlier,will be back for sure.
