Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club - Tantara Course

We’ve played here a couple of times over the last few years and each time we’ve been impressed by the venue. Busy car park and it looked like the 18-hole course might be very busy as well. But actually most must have been playing the nine hole course as we didn’t see that many out on course…even less on the back nine. Greens were in good condition and fairways nicely cut. Some rough was really quite long and would be really challenging to find a wayward ball.

Very friendly staff throughout. Great value as well through the booking app.

Course in good condition but pathways are not in great condition - just gravel paths.

Fantastic course. Didn’t find any hole disappointing. The course was in great condition, greens really well kept.

The only downfall was that it was very busy so slowed the pace down a lot but this just goes to show you that it’s popular. Definitely will return and look forward to playing again soon

Good course , a little over priced £30 max for around here , nice layout some fantasist par 3s , course in good condition but greens were slow and need of a cut for this time of year

Course was in great condition but the pace of play (3 hours for 9 holes) led us to give up after 9 holes.

Excellent course challenging and was in great condition for all the rain ee have had

Green’s great fairway wet heavy very muded 3 holes closed

Great place friendly staff but got stuck behind a five ball took nearly 5hr and was getting dark

Some very disappointing and far to simple par 3’s

Felt like a lack of hazards

Fairways were grassless in points which caused some very unpredictable bounces. There were holes which felt punishing to land in the fairway and felt the semi would have been more beneficial.

Big wide open fairways.

Greens protected by shape, slopes and contours.

Barely a bunker on the course, well except for the greens which were bad.

Signage is non existent and a little confusing on a number of holes.

Other than that, nice, goid value. Would recommend and play again

The Stonelieigh Deerpark Tantara golf course is simply a wonderful place to play golf,

A true countryside course not designed to punish rather to the enjoyment and freedom to play golf at all levels with fair tests on each hole, some requiring forethought particularly when needing to avoid the fairway-side trees, cross the stream and to reach and keep your golf ball on the raised and sloping greens.

Having played golf at the Tantara Golf Course, I always come away glad to have had the experience and consider it as enjoyable time well spent, no matter how well or how badly I played.
