Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club - Tantara Course

The courser was in great condition, the best I’ve seen it for many years.

Unfortunately, unlike other courses, they had allowed a golf society out early, which did hold up henarlmplay, but the general overbooking was the major issue with enough spacing causing the front nine to take 2.25 hours and the back nine taking 2.20.

Made to feel very welcome by the guy in the club shop and as a guest at a course this is one of the most important things to have. The course was excellent condition and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The course was very wet in places but was expected for the time of year , the greens were in excellent condition, hats off to the ground staff

A really great course to play, even with the poor weather lately.

Well drained course, with varying challenges and layouts of holes.

The sort of course that makes you think about your game and change your shots to suit, with wind/slopes/trees and gradients all playing there part.

A course that will be played again!!

Course was good green’s abi hard but looked nice I just enjoyed myself love golf will go back 👍🏌🏻‍♂️⛳️

I’ve been here a few times and every time before has been really good. This time however, the greens weren’t great the tee boxes looked like a child’s play box and the people they let on are horrendous. Got stuck behind a four ball who collectively couldn’t hit it further than 30yards. Putting was inconsistent. Greens very bumpy and not what I’d expect. The ball never got rolling it just bounced in the get real direction of the hole and you just had to hit and hope. I’ll give this another go next year, but for £30 I’d expect a bit more than what we got in Saturday.

I've played stoneleigh many times over the years and this was the worst condition I'd seen it. Very patchy and bumpy greens.

Pace of play was a bit slow but expected on a Saturday morning. What wasn't expected was members complaining we were holding them up when we were waiting for the group in front.

Firstly, layout of course is great, some nicely testing shaped holes. Staff average at best, pace pf play was decent. £30 though for the state of the tee boxes and greens.. especially the greens! Absolute shambles. Waste of money. Could of putted better on my garden gravel.. Better condition of courses around for the same amount of money

Tee boxes were not in the best condition. Some of them it was like teeing off from a sandpit

Overall the course was great ,a few bare lies probably due to the summer,but liked the course & layout
