The fact that I played poorly had an effect but it was not the courses fault the gent at reception was specifically very helpful.

I would definitely want to play the course again

This course is worth playing, but its nothing outstanding but you'll enjoy round, I just wish I checked the clubs website before booking as fairway mats need to be used and there was a fair few temporary tees, which spoilt it for us. The greens were in good condition.

Not played here since lockdown' very welcoming lady at reception started the round off on a good note.

The greens were fantastic' doubt they could be much better even in summer time.

Used to play this course ofter before due to covid it became hard to get a game here ...now in last month we have played it 4 times ..its not long but a challenging course with cross winds etc ...greens fast true and it excellent condition

Having seen the 5* reviews for this course, I thought I’d give it a try.

From the first to the last hole, the course was in exemplary condition. Tee boxes, fairways and most bunkers. Greens were of a good speed and were consistent throughout and ultra true.

A fairly short course off yellow pots where thought is required.

Off course facilities were excellent and the value for money was as good as I’ve come across from GN.

Will be returning again and I’d recommend this course to all abilities of golfer.

Have to admit this course is absolutely fantastic!! Lovely warm welcome and great advice too. The golf course may not be the longest but don’t be fooled- there’s plenty of trouble lurking ready to catch you out!! Wow is all I can say about the condition of the course and especially the greens!! They were amazing!! Fairplay Stratford Oaks you have a lovely course and well maintained!!

Great coarse, great greens, open fairways. Difficult rough!

Really good variation of holes and brilliant layout. Tee boxes, greens were in perfect condition and friendly staff in bar and pro shop. Few lost balls due to heavy rough but overall fantastic course. Will defiantly be back to play soon

Used every club in the bag, not just a drive and wedge course. A wide range of different hole types and in great condition again.

The course was well laid out and has some great attackable holes. The ground was rock hard so you had to land your approach shots short of the greens otherwise the ball ran straight through. Bizarrely, the restaurant didn’t open until 10.30am so we had to leave the course (4 ball tee time 9.30) and go back into town for a bacon roll and a coffee. Other than that, nice course, good value for money

Course condition was excellent. Staff faultless, friendly and helpful. Lovely area for drinks and snacks after or before round. Honestly an absolute gem of a course.

Played on an exceptionally windy day in winter, 20mph winds. Course was in fantastic condition, especially for this time of year. Greens were quick and had no pitch marks in them. Fairways were clearly delineated from rough. Club has a driving range, chipping and putting green as well to warm up.

Course well designed and challenging, particularly into a headwind. Highly recommend.

Very foggy day but course in excellent condition. Green's, fairways and tees in sublime condition for the time of year. Pace of play excellent. Am looking forward to playing the course on a clearer day.
