The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club - Championship Course

Decent course played in windy conditions making it a tough track.

Greens were good, fairways too.

Played this course as a try out ahead of a planned society weekend and I could not be more impressed. The whole germ of the place presets like a premium course as you approach it and you’re not disappointed as you tee off. I played the championship course and the opening 3 holes really grab your attention right away with that hazards in play. The whole course layout didn’t let up either. The greens were okay just coming out of the winter hibernation and some tee boxes were a bit scruffy but come summer you feel the place will be in great shape. All in all a very impressive impression. Would love to play the other course.

Great course. And in great condition considering the weather, play was a bit slow

A friend and I recently played the championship course at the Nottinghamshire.

It was easy walking and our pace of play was fairly quick, considering it was the 1st time either of us had played there.

The layout especially the first couple of holes and the final 5 are pretty challenging.

the only thing to let the course down was the condition of the greens due to them being sanded and hollow-tined at some point recently.

would recommend for a day out with there being 2 courses there.

Great golf holes lots of challenges everything from tee to green was in great condition. Have to be playing well to score round this course. Lots of hazards in play. Fantastic sunny Saturday to play this course. Highly recommended.

We were booked to tee off at 2pm, but didn't strike a ball until nearly 3. There were 4 groups of 4 waiting in front of us, & we followed them all for the rest of the day. There were only 2 of us, but there were no offers to play through. Not the fault of the course, but frustrating nonetheless. There were no buggies avaiable either, despite what appeared to be loads sat around idle.

Fortunately it was a beautiful day, & a fantastic course. Easy to walk, not too hilly. The greens were fast & unforgiving, the fairways wide, the rough deep, & the water and bunkers in just the right places to ensure I found plenty of both.

I play the course again in a few weeks time & can't wait.

Got behind 4 members who had a problem allowing a 2 ball through.

They were ignorant and blissfully unaware of course etiquette.

The snobbery they displayed with regards to being members makes me glad that I am NOT one

Played the championship course,excellent setup with a good variety of holes,greens in top condition ,can't wait to play it again,

In as good a condition as any course this time of year. Great value for money, good food snd drink offering, will be returning
