The first green was waterlogged and had a river running through it, which had us concerned but ever other green was absolutely fine and you can’t blame anyone for the weather, the course it self is quite open with wide fairways fun to play

I enjoyed the course & layout.. however Greens where a bit ropey

Played this course many times and I appreciate the cost of the round through GN was exceptional, it actually reflected how poor a condition the greens were. Not one green was the same pace, there were worm casts on every green, along with bare patches and the bumpiness of them was just atrocious. Considering we are playing in August I’d have expected the condition to be middle of winter. Such a shame as the rest of the course brilliant and a great layout with some tough and interesting holes. Hope the greens get sorted.

A very well maintained course in lovely condition would recommend.

Lovely course with a cool TrackMan range. Course was looking great and the greens were immaculate. Group of 3 in front of single player, wouldn't let me play through which added about 1 hour to my normal playing time.

What a good round we had, course was really good and challenging which is what we all need to improve our game

Arrived to find two driving/iron nets, putting green and short game area. Locals seem friendly. Course is decent, quite long but fair. Layout criss-crosses here and there and was not always well signposted, but that’s a thing for me to get used to. Ditches and tree positions mean approach shots often need careful consideration. Will look forward to returning soon

First time playing here will definitely be back, the course was in good condition, very friendly staff, just the play in front of us was quite slow

A post work round is never going to be the quickest, but having been let through a few times I managed to get round in 3h15- about an hour more than my normal 1 ball pace at this course.

I can’t be certain but i wonder if there was a green keepers’ revenge type comp on as almost all of the flags were barely on the recommended minimum in terms of proximity to the edge of greens, and very often on slopes which seemed to offer little to no chance of stopping nearby.

A few bobbly greens otherwise the course in good nick as the season gets into stride. For the twilight rate, recommended highly!

Immaculate course, and very welcoming from staff and fellow golfers on the coursewould definitely recommend.

Played at Thirsk and Northallerton for the first time, the course was in fantastic condition, the greens were fairly quick, in great condition and consistent. I will definitely be visiting again and will be recommending to friends.

Played a late afternoon round totally impromptu. A very warm welcome at the pro shop and very friendly members.

The course was in superb condition, fairways undulating and in excellent shape. The greens were some of the best I've played for a long time, very true and consistent.

A lovely parkland layout with nice features.

Would definitely play again soon.
