Romanby Golf & Country Club

First time playing this course and was not disappointed

Staff where brilliant friendly and offered advice

Fairways and greens in excellent condition

Some challenging holes.

Would definitely recommend this course to anyone

A four ball visiting party and it is the first time we have played this course - it was in great condition! Nice open forgiving fairways on the front 9 with a much more testing back 9, with water hazards here and there.

Greens and fringes were absolutely superb - we all agreed that they were up there with the best we have played. Hats off to the greens team. 👍

A warm welcome from the pro shop when we arrived and the club house is very nice with a lovely indoor and outdoor seating area. Ideal for a beer after the round.

Looking forward to playing the course again in future.

Really enjoyed the course, it is the second time I have played here but the pace of play was absolutely brutal. We waited on every tee and the round took 5 hours 9 mins from start to finish. Course in decent condition and it is a fun course but teeing off on a Sunday lunchtime which is quiet at most courses, over 5 hours is ridiculous. Such a pity, I would be a regular visitor otherwise.

A great course with water hazard and some challenging holes

Lovely course in great condition. Greens excellent. Lovely layout and mixture of challenges. Friendly staff and excellent club house - thoroughly recommend and will be back to play.

We have played several times before 2x2 ball games in front they were behind 2x4 ball games who were very slow took 4hours & 45mins to play a round even the 2 ball games stopped at 9 holes 4 ball games could have let us play through stood on tee boxes watching 4 ball in front of them aswell 🤔👍🏻

Played early afternoon. Found the course in great condition and the greens were receptive and true. Well done the greens staff.

We had a lovely day at Romanby.

The pro shop was good and the team were very helpful.

the club house was very good. the bar and dining area were excellent.

Staff very helpful and friendly.

The course was in great condition considering all the dry weather we have experienced.

Greens were excellent.

Played romanby many years ago in it's early stages with its brand new plantations. So good to be able to play it over the years now and again and seeing it mature. Now I'm a senior I hope I have a few years left to enjoy it many more times especially with the golf now hot deal.

Greens are very good, layout is good front nine and really good back nine. A good test of golf for medium to high handicap. Par threes are a good length.

Not sure if we were lucky, but weather great, course in lovely conditions, some excellent golf holes and the pace of play perfect. Three and a half hours to complete. Definitely going back some time, wonderful day out at a reasonable price

Played here for the first time and it was everything my group and I wanted and more. The course itself was very well kept indeed. The fairways brilliant. The greens were excellent. A few challenging holes to keep things interesting. Overall a very enjoyable round!
