Masham Golf Club

Accepting that we played on a damp Saturday morning in January the place felt abandoned.

A 9-Hole course in lovely settings.

I think the green keepers must still be on Christmas holidays.

No Tee's in use - not unexpected in January but Mats uneven, where temp tees were used like setting up on a playing field.

Temp Greens, again to be expected but no effort whatsoever to prepare anything, like putting on the fairway.

Disappointed as played this a few times last summer / autumn and enjoyed the course - was thinking of joining as a member but having second thoughts now.

Felt it was overpriced for 9 holes in winter £35 for x 2 players, my son joined us on Saturday morning and paid £20 for 9 holes on the day.

Would have been better heading to the range.

Club house was ok, lady in the bar was nice enough, no one in the club shop.

Picturesque 9 hole golf course, friendly reception, 2nd hole off the new back tees quite spectacular!

Best avoided in winter unless very dry

9 hole course in great condition despite a lack of rain recently. Green where in excellent condition. Friendly staff.

A very enjoyable round of golf course well maintained

I was amazed with the condition of the course from tee to green. The staff were great & gave me the best bacon buttie I've had for ages.

Course was in great condition for this time of year , the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will return when next in this area

Nice views of the countryside tucked away in masham

Beautiful course which is not too hard because there’s very little rough and bunkers are straightforward.

Fantastic tee shot over the River Burn was my favourite.

Friendly pro.

Excellent mixture of of tree lined holes - short/long - up/flat/down - Left/straight/right - with fast undulating small greens.

Only 9 holes but gives chance to learn from first nine for the second - We didn't 🙂
