First time on this course and I enjoyed it very much. Greens were good and the course layout was good
Solid course
Lovely course and always welcoming. Course in good condition. Pace of play quite slow at times. Golf courses should have signage telling people to avoid slow play or let faster players play through. Signage for expected times for 1,2,3,4 ball parties to complete 9 holes. Overall I will return as this is one of the better courses I play in North Yorkshire
Unexpected game
Dropped in for a game whilst away on a break in the area course was in good condition challenging in places made welcome by all staff and members I came in to contact with.
Bedale
Stuck behind a very very slow fourball who thought they were out for a Sunday afternoon sightseeing tour.
Having never played the course before and no maps available, was unsighted when teeing off. My long drives in the first 3 holes upset the fourballers who approached for a chat where I thought they would ask if we wanted to play through. This want the case and they repeated, probably due to their age, that they thought our driving was a bit close to them!!!
We ended up missing out three holes to get past this fourball and another set of “slows”, where the course was empty. Apart of that a lovely course which suited my game.

Very nice course staff were helpful and welcoming just a shame the rain come just after halfway round other than that very nice

Great Greens
The greens were awesome, fast running and true. Good pace of play and a greatlayout, got a bit of everything. Also rally priced well. Will be back again!!!!!

Haven’t played Bedale for a few years. Great condition of course this time of year. Especially with the amount of rain.
Great course for the money
Course was in really good condition considering the rainfall we have had, was however boggy in places. The only down side was some of the tee boxes weren’t in the best conditions. Overall would go back and play again.
Bedale
Greens were excellent, fast and true. Tees and fairways were good but the bunkers let the course down. Lacking sand and full of stones. Good Clubhouse food and staff. Overall though a very enjoyable day.
