Course conditions are poor, greens are terrible even for the time of year. very hilly course not worth the money

Despite the recent weather which has resulted in 7 temp greens the course was in pretty good condition and we had an enjoyable round. The staff in the shop and the bar were very welcoming, and the Pro had taken the trouble to call me ahead of the round to explain about the temp greens. Great service.

I've played Uttoxeter a few times. In winter the conditions are expectedly poorer but otherwise it's a good test. If you can play well here you can play well anywhere.

love playing here. After a week of rain the course was still brilliant. lovely shaped holes with more position than power required.. normal autumn problems with leaves but the ground staff where hard at work with drainage and leaf collecting. I'll be back soon.

second time around and again brilliant.. no hold.ups all round and greens were fantastic. only draw back was the fairways were being cut which made them muddy but all adds up to a brilliant course and lively challenge..

Very hilly, very little sand in the bunkers, a bit up and down, tee boxes not very clear, other than that.. not bad.

Was to busy felt really rushed unfortunately this time

After booking and playing previously, I thought maybe play again cause it was relatively good first time around - however I won’t be going again.

The course was in awful condition; greens been hollow tined and sanded, the tees were torn up with very little grass on them, the green quality overall was poor with basically craters in the green making them unputtable.

This was very disappointing as I was expecting a better round but was sadly proven wrong.

The highlight of the day was watching the horses racing past in the afternoon.

I’ve played this course a few times now for £15 and at this price I’d say it’s the best value in the area. Well maintained, interesting course that you have to plot your way around. Very tricky, sloping greens which run true.

I've played about 5 different courses in the last 6 months and this is my most preffered course. Once you get know the holes its brilliant. Very well maintained and the greens are not to pacey. Going this Sunday and really looking forward to it. FORE!!!!

Arrived and checked in only to be told that it was Presidents’ Day… and there will be free drinks and Bacon Roll waiting for us on the 12th…

Brilliant…!!

Only downside to our day was that we were behind a society of non-golfers….

But the day was good, .. hospitality was again brilliant…

All in all.. value for money and a very friendly place to play golf….

Very busy in a Saturday morning, but didn’t get held up to much, stood at the bar for 5 minutes waiting for somebody to appear to serve us but understandable on a busy day

Short course, very enjoyable round of golf. Shame about weather (rained most of the round), but you can't blame anybody for that. Pace of play was slow, behind a two ball, not played there before & seniors were out in force. Although short, it's more about knowing where to leave yourself in the fairway & how far to carry off the tee. Had played there before, but it was over 15+ years ago. Good value for money.
