Waterton Park Golf Club

I have played this course a few times and I love it, at 40 pounds that’s probably the most I would pay for it in this condition. Do not get me wrong it’s still lovely but I have played it when it’s been better. Some of the tee boxes are a bit tatty and need mowing. Huge amounts of duck poo around some greens which gets everywhere and you may say nothing you can do but it’s a known thing on this course so you would think it’s part of maintenance to remove it. Greens have been faster. I am being picky as many will love it, but having played it when it has been immaculate I was a bit disappointed at this price point. Love the friendly fox on the 15th.

Wanted to play the course for years. The discounted hot deal was very appealing so we gave it a go.

The course is in great condition with some fantastic hole layouts. You can feel the quality of the place from start to finish! We were so suprised to find the halfway house still open at half 3 which was a bonus.

Some of the holes are close to the lake so you have to battle the Geese and their wast but not a big issue.

I played rubbish but thoroughly enjoyed the round. Not the easiest walk but manageable!

Great variety of different holes. Have to think for every shot. Forgiving where needed but punishes bad shots

Been playing this course for over 10 years now and it's always in great condition although the rough is brutal if tha wayward!

The course is fantastic and the greens ran really pure. My only issue is the incredible length and thickness of the rough. Makes it impossible to find anything not on the fairway so rough is essentially a water hazard. Otherwise fantastic course. Perhaps

Brilliant course . Definitely coming back in summertime.

Loved the course and will definitely be returning once all the holes are open and at full length. Needs a few more signposts directing you to the winter tee beds, also the members behind us seemed a bit abrupt when speaking to them on the first tee.

Amazing course, was good condition for this time of year with the weather, friendly and helpful staff, can’t wait to play in summer

Beautiful course, also in very good condition considering the weather we’ve had recently. Would love to return in the summer and play from the original tee boxes rather than winter tees.

The course itself is great, very challenging and greens were great! Pace of play was slow and I was verbally told by a four ball of members on the 9th tee that they wouldn’t let me through which was disappointing, my back 9 took nearly 2 and a half hours. I will say I was let through by two gents playing the tee time in-front of me but this group was very slow and refusing to let people play on.

No doubt this is a good and challenging course but this is the second time we've played here and on both occasions the pace of play has been terrible and then to make matters worse, again on both occasions, the greens were turned into beaches mid round with a heavy sand covering.

First time playing here after hearing a lot of good things. Course certainly lived up to and went beyond expectations. All holes beautifully presented and greens pure and true. Would certainly go back here although, I have heard it isn’t the best course during the winter as with most.

Overall lovely track though.

Great course some tricky holes well worth a trip of you have never played this course before .
