Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club

The slowest golf course I’ve played in. 4 balls don’t let 1 ball through. Just slow.

The tee off area in very poor condition, green pitch markes not being repaired. Slow play is to next level from hole 2 we had 3 groups waiting nehind us. When we called pro shop to inquire if there was any issues Tony was so rude and said if you don't like dont come.

Good tight and challenging course with bunkers everywhere!!! Great bunker practice though.

Only issue is that the next tee offs are not sign posted so confusing for 1st or 2nd time player there. Also kitchen was closed at 3pm so only had coffee and no food after the round.

The course was tight with hazards and bunkers on all the fairways. Challenging. However , the management do need to seriously put signs up as to where to go for your next tee off! If you're a first or even 2nd time player there you have no idea as to where ghe next tee off is after you finish a hole until the 12th. Needs some directions as to which way the next hole tee off is. Apart from that, kitchen was closed at 3p.m anx only drinks available.

I enjoyed the challenge of the course and lots of water to make you think

Having choosen Woolston Manor to play, I was delighted by my choice.

From the friendly arrival at the golf shop & info received, to steppijg out onto the course.

At first i thought oh no the mist was going to linger, but by the 3rd hole, the sun came beaming through.

Although i had to keep my trolley to the path on six of the holes, this can only benefit the course, which considering the conditions I felt was the course was in good condition. There was no rush & was a lovely day to be out on the course. Water comes into play on a number pf holes & i love those challenges. Although the tee off points had been shortend, this i believe was to preserve the main tee off areas for the future & once the weathe improves ( dryer ), am sure they'll be playable again. There were no matts or temporary greeens & have to say was impressed by the greens that ran true. Will defo being coming back in the future , as i like to mix up my round trying out various courses. Well done Woolston Manor & well done golf now .

The course has a great variety of holes with many of them having water hazards. Winter weather meant that it was muddy, but the course were managing this well - no mats and no temporary greens, and had to keep the trolleys to the paths on a third of the holes - but I don't mind that as it will mean the course is going to benefit greatly for when the weather improves. Friendly staff in the pro shop and bar meant that it was an overall enjoyable round of golf and I'll definitely be back!

Horrendously muddy, unable to stand without slipping on most tee boxes. It has been wet recently but better looked after courses don’t have this problem.

It could be excellent with some TLC and better drainage, stick to playing here in summer

Likely a nice summer course, but awful winter course. So boggy.
