Cobblestone Golf Course

The greens had just been sanded. There was no mention of this at any time. No discount offered for sanded greens.

The greens were loaded with sand, ball bounced all over the place. It was cart path only. I can see it being cart path only on some holes but all of them was ridiculous. The price was much too expensive for the condition of the course. When I made my tee time, the alert was the greens were aerated. They may have been. However it should have been listed that the sand was over the greens.(thick layer)

It said on the course site (not Golfnow) that the greens were aerated but nothing about the complete coverage of every green and the whole green in sand! Fairways were also torn up. Terrible to let people play on the track when its like that

I think that a golf course has a moral obligation to inform its patrons AS WELL AS post on GolfNow when it has aerated. To show up and discover that the course had been aerated two days ago as well as be told the range was closed was extremely disappointing. To add insult to injury, the aeration job left the greens unplayable. I think they used a tiller. We played two holes and quit.

A real hidden gem beautiful scenery & layout even while it’s being repaired truly a must play for a public course, I highly recommend this course I’m definitely returning soon my only complaint is I booked this on GN & didn’t receive credit for what was taking off my card which I’ll call GN & hopefully get that back but I’m loving Cobblestone

The layout and environment, including views and elevation changes is amazing. A fantastic course, challenging but gorgeous.

The staff was very friendly. The pace of play was the issue. It was backed up but the clowns ahead of us were hitting 2 or 3 balls off the tee, take the best one and hunt in the woods for their lost golf balls. They weren't exactly condiderate of others.

Pace of play was terrible. Nearly 5 hours. Also cart path only and it was 95 degrees! So it was a long day!

Just ok. Hadn’t played here in about a year. Definitely going downhill. Greens were burned out and patchy; and vey inconsistent. Should be rolling well 3-4 weeks after punching them but not the case here.

Tee placement on many holes seemed to be the most un level area possible on the tee box. 5 hour round on a weekday. Starters/marshalls were worthless. We heard there were 2 five somes a few groups in front of us that they did nothing about.

Course layout is good and should be a great course. Unfortunately this is just ok. Good for the hot deal price but not the full price.

Also, 10 year old mats at the range with marathon crap balls is disappointing to see at a course charging rates like this.

Played in the dead heat of a summer day and there was still 3 groups per hole and a wait time of 10+ mins to tee off. They are sending too many groups out. It’s not bc of pace of play. Overbooking here is unfortunate

Took us 5 hours to play! The fairways were in good condition but the greens not so much. Cart paths were nice; trust me I would know because we spent the entire day on them. It was cart path only! Extremely long day! Pace of play was terrible. Even had several gentlemen patrolling but that didn't help. Was told "that's the nature of the beast".

Loved the course and had a great layout that presented just enough challenge. Some beautiful views.Will definitely be back.

Tee boxes were in bad shape though and greens had recently been aerated. Tons of recent rain left it a bit wet and muddy in spots, but overall I've seen courses in much worse condition after rain so it didn't hamper my round.

It was clearly going to thunderstorm but wouldn’t let me cancel my reservation. Seems like pro shops are really unhelpful these days — never even showed up because of the torrential downpour.

My son and I played Cobblestone last Friday, understood they had just aerated the greens but didn't expect the greens to look like sand traps. It was a hot day and the pace of play was very slow, a little over 5 hrs to finish.

Other than that it was a fun time on the course.

Cobblestone is one of the best municipal courses in the area by far! The layout and views of the lake make it a great place to play regardless of the time of year.
