Cobblestone Golf Course

Really disappointed that the greens and tee boxes are in such bad shape for this great course. Don’t think it’s worth what they’re charging right now and I’m glad I didn’t renew my Cobblestone card this year. Otherwise pace was great and layout is always fun.

Paired up with two walking so it was slow and a lot of waiting. Course was in good shape other than the greens. Greens were pretty bad and nothing like the practice greens.

We only had 2 in our group and we were paired up with 2 more but didn't know until they showed up on the Tee box. We were driving and they were walking so it made up a slow round. The greens were in pretty bad shape but the fairways played good.

Cobblestone is affordable and challenging. Pace of play was good and the only thing I was missing was a grass range. Greens played faster than some of the other public/semi-private courses around Atlanta. Overall I would recommend and will come back for another round.

Last year this turned out to be my favorite course. When I came back this year the greens were not in good condition. The rest was great.

Course conditions do you equal what they are charging. As the previous review said conditions are poor with bare fairways and spotty greens. It they were charging a lower rate this would not be a problem.

The layout plays over very hilly terrain and has many holes on the lake. Couple this with some greens with serious undulation and this should have meant a great day!

5 hour round

Very different than most courses, few holes are driver off tee due to short doglegs. Greens fairly uniquely shaped with deep bunkers surrounding them. Fairways were tight as well. Overall good round on a Saturday afternoon, pace was good with few delays on group ahead. Practice area looked good with grass tees on weekend for the range

Fairways are in good shape, pace of play was decent, got bogged down at the turn, which is typical at this course. Bunkers were in better shape than they have been. Tee boxes 7/10, par 3’s need a bucket of sand to fix divets, some tee boxes a little rough. Greens need some work, they have new growth coming in which is great, hard to be consisted putting based on condition.

This was a fantastic course. Its very hard though. Super hilly and a lot of tough shots to make. Not many flat lies to hit from outside the tee box. The scenery and the beauty of the course offsets how challenging it is. Overall a great place.
