About
Alhambra Golf Course has a player-friendly design that is ideal for beginners but also great for more experienced players who are looking for a quick but fun round. The layout is a shorter par-71 design at 5,478 yards. It may not be long but it offers plenty of other challenges. There is plenty of variety between the two vastly different nines. The front nine holes are fairly flat, parkland holes with generous fairways lined with trees. The beginning holes provide a good warm-up for Alhambra Golf Course's more difficult back nine where you'll have to use every club in your bag. The back sprawls across rolling terrain, incorporating elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also more strategically placed bunkers on the back nine. Alhambra's 16th is the signature hole. This tricky par 5 begins with an intimidating tee shot over water in order to reach the fairway.

Great size and local
Fifteen minutes to the parking lot from home. .Water, sand, target golf holes...pretty fun and not overly long.

At least the greens were nice
Slow play. What you’d expect if they let out 5 somes who btw were hitting two or three each off the tee. Greens firm and fast. None of that matters if you’re waiting forever on each shot.

Driving Range
My only complaint is a small bucket of balls is $9.00. That seems expensive compared to similar places.

Solid course for walking
The course is shorter from the blues than most, but that’s not a criticism. Walking this course was a pleasure. Course conditions were really good. Greens were quicker than expected… that was an unexpected but welcome challenge.
Pace of play was average… had to wait to tee off a few times, but nothing major.
Overall, a really pleasant walking round on a sunny afternoon. Who can ask for more?

Fastest Round in Town
Played a rare 3 1/2 hour round that was quite enjoyable. Playing before 8 on most weekday mornings usually gets you in around 4 hours.

Alhambra for the people
This is my home course. I love it. The course is challenging, but it’s just the perfect amount of challenging. It’s definitely a course that makes you feel good about your golf game. Both front and back are well maintained. And for the price, you get a better experience than most country clubs I’ve been to. All around an awesome course!

Bang for your Buck
This is the course I learned to play golf on. It will always hold a special place in my heart. I've played an many other courses from Colorado to Palm Springs and Alhambra is comfort food. The staff is amazing especially Julius and Jasmine. That said, this course must be good since I hear people from all around southern California continue to play here.

A decent neighborhood golf course for beginners who are not pressed on time
If you are with friends who want to have a good time, and don’t mind to spend 6 hours for 18 holes, this is a nice place to play. If you are working on your golf skill improvements, this place is not ideal.
