About
Alhambra Golf Course has a player-friendly design that is ideal for beginners but also great for more experienced players who are looking for a quick but fun round. The layout is a shorter par-71 design at 5,478 yards. It may not be long but it offers plenty of other challenges. There is plenty of variety between the two vastly different nines. The front nine holes are fairly flat, parkland holes with generous fairways lined with trees. The beginning holes provide a good warm-up for Alhambra Golf Course's more difficult back nine where you'll have to use every club in your bag. The back sprawls across rolling terrain, incorporating elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also more strategically placed bunkers on the back nine. Alhambra's 16th is the signature hole. This tricky par 5 begins with an intimidating tee shot over water in order to reach the fairway.

Fun challenging course
Not the longest course but it was challenging and fun to play. Didn’t have to wait to much. Only problem was that the kitchen was closed when we made the turn around 2pm so that was surprising and disappointing.
Memorial Day golf
Have always liked this course. Some par 3s were under construction so it put me in between clubs. I played fairly early but was unable to purchase coffee or alcohol until 9am which was a bummer. Would definitely come back as long as holes under construction are fully repaired
Always a joy yo play here
Staff is super friendly and tee times are well managed as well as pace of play
New Carts needed
overall I love playing here but I wish the carts had a map of the course and built in speaker as well ...other than that i always love playing here
Favorite LA Course
Front 9 is mostly flat with scorable par 4's. Scenery and layout is really nice. Few water hazards so you won't lose many balls.
Back 9 is more difficult with multiple hills and valleys. Layout is a little tight and you may see a ball or two from another group come close but I still love this course.
Definitely will keep coming here!
Wow!
Drove up from Long Beach. This course surpasses any course in Long Beach, the condition of this course reflects the care given to it. The course is in great shape! I enjoyed the elevations of play. Staff in Pro Shop were courteous and efficient.
I have already booked my next round of play.

Love playing here, great layout, back nine really challenging.
Nice place to play!
We were allowed to tee off almost 30 minutes early. We were never rushed and had to wait. Was able to stay on a great pace and had a 3 1/2 hour round. Will play there again without question.
