About
Alhambra Golf Course has a player-friendly design that is ideal for beginners but also great for more experienced players who are looking for a quick but fun round. The layout is a shorter par-71 design at 5,478 yards. It may not be long but it offers plenty of other challenges. There is plenty of variety between the two vastly different nines. The front nine holes are fairly flat, parkland holes with generous fairways lined with trees. The beginning holes provide a good warm-up for Alhambra Golf Course's more difficult back nine where you'll have to use every club in your bag. The back sprawls across rolling terrain, incorporating elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also more strategically placed bunkers on the back nine. Alhambra's 16th is the signature hole. This tricky par 5 begins with an intimidating tee shot over water in order to reach the fairway.

Overall excellent course!
I love everything about this course. From 1-18 you have great conditions, a great course layout with somewhat easy straight forward holes to some really challenging ones with hard dog legs and water to lookout for. I am always 100% satisfied with the conditions and pace of play. Definitely recommend this course to anyone and one of my favorite courses close to home.

Aerated greens
Greens were aerated, no warning. They’re probably a couple weeks away from being fully healed.
Fun short course.
First time out on this course. Very nice layout, greens were good and was paired up with 3 great guys. Staff was excellent and gave good directions and information. I would definitely recommend anyone check out the course for a wonderful golf experience. Great value for the money, although I do wish they would accept cash again.
Excellent
Entire course was well maintained, greens were running well, fairways were smooth, rough was trimmed and clear. All bunkers played well and even though LA area received large amount of rain during the week the course didn't present with any water issues.
So much waiting
Played at 4:30 for 9 holes. Too many groups. Waited on every hole. Especially par 3’s - 2 groups. Throw in the High school team…. It’s got ridiculous.
