About
Alhambra Golf Course has a player-friendly design that is ideal for beginners but also great for more experienced players who are looking for a quick but fun round. The layout is a shorter par-71 design at 5,478 yards. It may not be long but it offers plenty of other challenges. There is plenty of variety between the two vastly different nines. The front nine holes are fairly flat, parkland holes with generous fairways lined with trees. The beginning holes provide a good warm-up for Alhambra Golf Course's more difficult back nine where you'll have to use every club in your bag. The back sprawls across rolling terrain, incorporating elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also more strategically placed bunkers on the back nine. Alhambra's 16th is the signature hole. This tricky par 5 begins with an intimidating tee shot over water in order to reach the fairway.

No golf management
The tee times were too close to each other. There were too many children on the course that were attempting to play and not skilled enough to play. I believe that children should have its own block and not allow seasoned golfers to have to wait behind them because they're running back and forth on the fairways and Greens not really playing the game properly. There was no Marshall to speed up the pace of play, that course could be a very beautiful place to play but the conditions were poor and there was no one to regulate the pace of play.

Playing 9 holes with my son at Alhambra Golf was great. The staff was helpful and attentive. The price was very, very reasonable. We already made another tee time to play at Alhambra again a little later this month. Thanks!

Nostalgic!
This was the first real course I ever played when I was 18, I’m 45 now and hadn’t played here in over 16 years. It was great to see Julius again, I had not seen him since I moved away from Alhambra, he started as a cart cleaner and now runs the place. The course was in great condition and I highly recommend it. It’s not a long course but it’s very challenging. I started with 3 birdies in a row and ended at 1 over 🤦🏻♂️

Rude staff
Was there to play the 9 holes. There was a crew making videos. Had to skip 2 holes, they held a hole for a long time, and asked us to skip the next hole because they were going to film there too.

It a fun course with good challenges
I like the course layout. The holes have fun challenges. It's not a real difficult course.
