Best shot of the day on the 4th hole Photo submitted by Brett4224030 on 10/04/2012
A great course...
Always enjoy this course and the new club house is woderful.
Beat the heat
Antelope Greens is always perfect from Tee to Greens that's never in question, during the summer it's the temps that'll get you. I started at 7:42 this time and was finished by 10:45. Had one of my best rounds and I think the earlier start was the seccret.
Nice little course
Antelope Greens is a nice executive course at a great price. It's a good walking course with some fun holes.
Condition
This course has long way in improving and maintaining. A very good course for beginners.
Too hot to walk
Had a great outing last Tuesday, shot a 31 from the blues, not bad for a 24 handicap. We started at 11:32 but the heat got to me on the back 9. Even though I had an umbrella on my push cart it would've been a better idea to ride. Temps were in the low 100's and it just got hard to focus. Shot a 40 on the back 9 but I made a new friend Kris.
Greens
Not so obvious depressions around cups cause ball to veer off track within inches of cup, most likely due to player traffic. This is particularly frustrating for longer putts. I wonder if pin placements could be more frequently changed.
Tee boxes are not level and in bad shape. Pace of play can be slow.
great condition!!!!
Course is in great condition and love the short course challenge to work on my short game. Just love this place.
The Perfect Training Course
Antelope Greens doesn’t have fancy facilities and the ideal cart paths and practice range; if that’s all you care about then don’t visit.
The greens are in great condition and it’s a fantastic course to tune your short game or teach a new player how to manage a course.
The staff is wonderful and the course is fun. Even for someone who plays at a fairly low handicap, it offers opportunities to hit new shots and challenge your short game off the tee.
Much more value for the money that you’ll get in a great many courses in Sacramento.
My 8 year old stated that this is the greatest course he’s ever seen. This doesn’t mean anything because he has terrible judgment and likes gymnastics more than golf. What it does say is that it’s inviting and enjoyable for all levels of experience and skill.
fast round
One hour and 55 minutes to walk 18 holes
Beautiful morning and great condition, was a real blast. Love this place for short game practice.
My Favorite course
I play and review this course 4 or 5 times per month and each time is a great experience. Highly recommended.
