Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

Starter told us “locals” were playing in front of USA it took 6 hours. Marshall came around once and did nothing, then someone in the club house let a twosome jump on for 9 holes at the turn. Highly recommend you don’t go I you want a sub 6 HLI ind

Played after recent overseeding, greens had grown back pretty nicely. Poor design of putting cart paths so far from greens, it really slows the pace of play. Much of the course has new construction being done next to it, so gravel cart paths.

I love everything about this course except the pace of play. It was cart path only due to overseeding but it was backed up from the first tee. I had a 12:57 tee time and finished in the dark at 6:15pm. It was hard to see the ball or read the last couple greens.

Better bang for the buck than the local stuff in central Scottadale. Lots of tees and fair fun layout with good views. Greens weren’t overseeded so they were rolling good.

Got behind a fivesome that played extremely slow during a very hot day. Greens had been recently aerated and were very bumpy. Fairway grass was high and you got almost no roll out. Lots of home building and construction throughout the course. Almost every hole plays up hill to the green. Not impressed.

Staff Members were wonderful, the course was in great conditions, Greens were plugged awhile ago but were still recovering; still a little bumpy. It makes it hard if you kill the ball at the hole. Thanks.

This was my first time playing this course. There is a sister course that called the Founder Course and it's also supposed to be good.

The course was in good shape except the greens had been plugged about a week ago. That did not change how much I enjoyed the layout and the conditions. The course is interesting and can be challenging if you play tougher tees. My wife felt the forward tees were very fair.

The staff was outstanding and friendly.

It probably would have been a great course had I known the greens were being aerated which after touching base with the Pro Shop says it is on the website buried in the maintenance tab. That would be great if I was on the website but I was on a vendor partner booking it with golf now and that was not noted had just played the course the founders course the week before and it was fine who wants to pay $75 in summer to play greens that are garbage it should be $20 when you are aerating the greens

As our group was preparing to tee off on the 1st, the starter made numerous comments that we should tee off on the shorter tee box. He literally sat in the cart just behind our tee box and mumbled comments about how we are playing the wrong tee box. It was a 6:30am tee time, with no range time, I guess he expected Rory and Tiger quality shots off the 1st tee. After we all hit our shots, he concludes his commentary with a brief about how he, "has a tight schedule and expects no more than a 4hr round". I ended up shooting a 78 from the 6800 yard tees. I have never been so offended by a starter in my 20 years playing golf. I hope management reads this review and has a conversation with the starter working this morning.

A lot more fairway room than it looks off the tee. A couple of goofy holes, but a beautiful setting. Will come back!

The course was in good condition for AZ in the summer time. There were a few burned out spots, but overall it was mostly green and there was grass under your ball. The greens have mostly filled in from the aeration a month ago.
