Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

The Victory Course is always fun to play at Verrado, the conditions were good, they are getting ready to start overseeding, so stuff was starting to brown out, but that's pretty standard this time of year for a decent course, I'd recommend playing here or the Founders course if you haven't played either of them yet, worth the drive down.

One of the best layouts in town. Greens were nice and smooth and rolled great. They didn't look great because someone doesn't know how to mow the grass properly but they rolled nice. For the end of the summer in Phoenix they were great.

Tees were fluffy. Need to be mowed down, Same with fairways. Ball was backing up on the drives. Bunkers were great except for one i was in on 14. Lots of large rocks in a green side bunker.

I understand the desire for players to buy beverages and snacks from the course facilities, but we didn't see the beverage cart till the 16th hole. The ice in the cooler was not to be ingested, and there were no ice machines/chests on the course. It was 107 degrees and I was surprised that they didn't appear to be concerned about their customers.

A map of the course (each hole) would have been very helpful for any first time player such as my wife and I.

Excellent course layout, great conditions, super friendly staff. Not as built up as the Founders Course but every bit as fun. Verrado has two excellent courses.

We chose to play the Founders course instead of the Victory course due to scheduling. This is our second time playing the Founders course and it is becoming one of my favorites in AZ . The course is very well maintained, the bunkers are trimmed and raked , the fairways are multi level cut to insure more difficulty in play and the greens are some of the best I have seen in AZ this year . What a nice course , we look forward to playing it again .

Conditions were good, pace 41/4 hrs, layout ok.

The pace of play was great, but there were a lot of bugs on the front 9 holes due to rains and monsoons. The course is a little disconnected due to the building going on, and the surface of the greens was a little rough.

The course including the fairways, greens and bunkers were in excellent condition! The greens were a little slow but rolled true. Summer rates are amazing!

Had a wonderful day at Victory Golf Club. Golf course is maintained very well, greens are phenomenal for summer conditions. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I never have a one bad thing to say about this facility. Clubhouse is perched on top of a hill overlooking everything, beautiful views! Will always return to play golf here and at there Founders Course.

Played here a couple times and it is always worth the drive from Phoenix. The layout is great and friendly, but challenges the advanced golfer. The drinks on the beverage cart are fairly priced and plenty of water provided around the course. I prefer this course over founder's by a long shot.

Excellent! All around from the staff to the greens, absolutely amazing.
