Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

Love the course but all of a sudden you are forcing people to purchase minimum 2 players on golfnow. You are screwing the golfer that want to go by himself! Why?

The course itself was fun but challenging. The views were great and the course has a nice layout to it. However they overbooked the course and the pace of play was absolutely terrible. We waited about 7-10 minutes at every tee box. There wasn’t anyone pushing the pace of play but as soon as it hit 6:55 they were pushing us off the course. We had over 4 hours to finish our 18 and we were unable to do so. They kick you off the course at 7 because the sprinklers come on, which is a huge flaw in managements decision because there’s still a decent amount of sunlight and plenty of golf to be played. From my experience I won’t be returning anytime soon.

The course was in great shape the practice putting green was a lot faster then the actual greens.. I can’t wait to play it again to get comfortable with the course. Nice course!!!

First time I have played this one, really enjoyed the whole day. Very fortunate that we played with a pair that knew the course, this is definitely a course where you benefit from experience. Plenty of room In the fairways, although it looks narrow from the tees. Very strategic layout...not just grab the driver on every tee. Great conditions, especially the greens. Can’t wait to play it again!

The course set up and layout did not suit my game. Some blind shots, hard greens and poor putting services made it very difficult to enjoy my plate. If you missed the fairway at all, you’re penalized severely. Therefore I cannot recommend this course to people who do not hit 275 to 300 yard drives.

I am a AZ resident and I absolutely love my Victory course! My friends and I always pick a course mid-way for each of us in driving distance and again and again we play Victory or The Founders course. Love the staff too. After we finish a round at Victory - we usually head down to the Founders Club and have lunch there! Greens are in good shape. Still slightly on the high side of cost for this time of year but over-all enjoyable!

Victory course at Verrado is more open than the founders course giving it some more playability in my opinion. Great course conditions, fun holes, and no one was out there this afternoon making it a quick round for a threesome.

Decided to venture out to Buckey, AZ to play the Victory course at Verrado. Course was in excellent shape with challenging greens rolling relatively quickly. Holes are spread out, so walking would be challenging. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only one hole with a blind shot which I dislike. Can't wait to return.

The course was in great condition . The slopes Were way under rated, especially the windy conditions.

The whites are unfair for seniors as the carry to the fairway on at least 2 holes made it difficult to reach the fairways.

Suggest seniors play the white-gold combination

Great play for the money! Everything was great other than the Power Ranger trip. Guess a foursome in 3.5 hours was not quick enough to lead the day. Everything from play, conditions and food was excellent

Course is in fantastic shape and pls understand this is not a negative review by any means . I just believe the Founders course is much better golf and definitely better staff and friendliness. Both of these gems are a fantastic bargain for the price . Definitely, worth the drive

Cart ran out of juice on 14th hole. Phoned pro shop, was told help on the way. Had to push cart with other cart to finish round. Upon returning, no concern about failure to respond. Was told all the ways we made mistakes asking for help. Played at Verrado several years and this was low point for what is usually excellent attentiveness by staff.

Terrific place to play golf and relax. Beautiful course in great condition even though theres been a ton of rain! Absolutely recommend!!

This is one of the best courses in the area. Very enjoyable layout, great condition.

I've played Victory 4 or 5 times. It never disappoints. It's a great place to take visitors for a guaranteed great experience. With 5 T boxes, there's no need to be intimidated by length. Still a challenge, and beautiful layout. To me, it is worth paying a bit more than I usually do to play Victory.
