Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

Course was in great condition and the weather was terrific! Staff was friendly and our golf rate was good too! We had a 1:15 tee time and barely finished. Course was full so to be expected. Fun day!

This is the best I have seen this course. No cart path restriction like founders. Fairways were lush. My only knock were the greens were slow and shaggy, needed mowing but grass was thick and green. I’ll be back for sure.

Course was off cart path only and in fabulous condition. Tee boxes and greens were like peak season. Only disappointment was the pace of play. Only managed 16 holes in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Group in front was very slow - ranger came around a few times, but staff said they anticipate 4 and 1/2 hours typically. Fairways and rough were also in excellent condition. Will play the course again but will allow for 4 and 1/2 hours plus to ensure we get all 18 holes in.

My brother and I played the Victory course for the first time. The course was full and we finished in 4 1/2 hours without delays.

The course was in very good shape, especially the greens which were near perfect. We are seniors and played the Gold tees which are 5,400 yards. A little short but kept us out of trouble and still lots of challenges.

We will definitely return to play Victory next year on our trip to the area.

Beautiful course conditions at a reasonable price. Played the Victory course at Verrado. We had a 1pm tee time and didn’t expect to finish all 18, but didn’t even get to 14!! No course Marshalls to be found and no beer/refreshment cart with temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius(86F). We skipped the huge lines at the remaining tee boxes to make it to the lounge for a sunset beer and they were closed! They shut down at 5pm on a Friday night! Ridiculous......

we did manage to find a great bar/restaurant 5 mins away called the Vic Bar + Kitchen. Awesome views, large outdoor patio and great food.

Would return for the restaurant but doubtful for the golf.

Beautiful course and long! Pace of play a little slow as we played in the afternoon on a hot day. Challenging course but accommodates all levels of play. Very nice. We have another tee time set for next week. A good value for the money!

Great conditions , first time playing , we love it ...

Had played the Founders course several years ago and was very nice, so wanted to give the VIctory course a try. Unfortunately, it was cart path only after overseeding, so a, the course was not in good shape, and b, it is not a course that should be open when it is cart path only. The layout is great and there are some great holes, so it would be interesting to play the course when it is in good shape. Greens were very shaggy and inconsistent. Many, if not most, holes had their cart paths separated from the fairway and rough by dessert areas, so you either had to walk through the dessert/hazard areas full of sand and rocks, or park really far from your ball, making it very difficult to enjoy the round.

Still on the cart path ,green,tees,fairways all perfect.,and what a great layout with many choices to tee from .Will return soon.

This is a very scenic and maintained golf course. It will challenge you with blind/target shots at times and even penalize you for good shots that just aren't in the right place on the fairway or greens, but the beauty of the course is undeniable. We played with cart path only (which will end Saturday, Nov 2nd), so it made the course that much slower and harder. Once that's out, the experience will be much better. I would recommend playing a round here as the beauty and condition of this course is fantastic.

Right when we walked in the guy in the pro shop was very rude. Then he told me my booking was for 4 when I only booked for 3 and had the golf now email to back it up. He did want to see it. Then he charge me the wrong rate and when I went back in to fix it he was rude again saying that that was there normal weekend rate. And when it told him that is not what I book he got upset and gave me some more additude. Very poor customer service and should not be working the front

Tee time was 1:24 so finished last couple of holes in dark. Restaurant closed early so had to go to the other Varado golf course for supper. Marshal on first hole was excellent and very friendly. Person in club house who took our payment was exact opposite. Kind of rude and snobbish. All in all enjoyed the golf course immensely.

This is one of my favorite courses in Phoenix, as I drove over an hour to play here, and for the value you can't complain. The course was cart parth only coming out of overseed, which is expected. The course was in great shape, on the fairways and tees, greens were a little slow but that's also expected this time of year. Only saw the cart girl once and that was on hole 10 that was the only downside, and that's not golf related. Played in 4 hours and 15 minutes on a Saturday. Will return.

This course is in a newer development in the west valley and is only a few years old. It features several scenic holes and a magnificent finishing signature hole that includes a 220 -yard carry over a lake from an elevated tee. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course, which has a wonderful desert layout -- with one exception -- the course had just re-opened after over-seeding and was cart-path only. This course was not meant to be played cart-path only. I walked more, being restricted to the cart path, than I think I have ever before with a cart. The pace of play was impacted by this, but not as and as I thought it would be. I think our round lasted about 4 hours and 10 minutes on a Friday morning. Overall, the cause was in great shape. The greens were a tad on the furry side and a bit slower than your typical desert course greens, but they were fair and true. I totally recommend this course. It is a fun track and I will be back to play it again -- just not when it is cart path only.
