DeBell Golf Club

I love this course. I would play more often if there was a Marshall helping with pace, if the snack bar was more efficient (order slow and missing items -almost missed tee time) and the cart girl showed up more than once.

I had been looking forward to playing this course for a while—my dad played it many times and always recommended it. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the conditions. The greens were waterlogged to the point that some cups were literally filled with water. The speed of the greens was very inconsistent—some were wet and slow, others were dry and much faster.

The rough was also in poor shape. It was so overgrown and unkempt that finding a ball just a yard or two off the green was a challenge. It didn’t feel like a strategic penalty—more like a lack of maintenance.

That said, the layout of the course is fantastic. It really makes you think about club selection—this isn’t just a driver-off-every-tee kind of track. The views throughout the course are beautiful, and the pace of play for my 6:40am tee time was excellent. I truly hope they invest in course maintenance soon, because this place has a lot of potential.

Seems like there was a lot of work being done on the course, but on many fairways, lots grass clippings were left behind, and the grass was quite long making it difficult to find your ball if didn’t land in the fairway. Just felt like maintenance was done fast and not with care for the course.

De bell is a fun course to play, fairways are a bit tight hole are challenging. it’s definitely a fun round every time we play here.

For the cost of the round normally dont think it's suitable for the conditions of the greens and fairways, beautiful surroundings but conditions were rough

Front 9 is pretty awful. Back feels like a different course.

No sand in bunkers, greens are in disrepair, if you’re off the fairway forget about have a good lie

Worse condition I have seen there in 20 years... Ex.-Rough 1 yard off the fairways was 1ft high!! Don't know if it's funds or staffing but a course with that much vegetation needs constant maintenance before it gets out of control...Fingers crossed DeBell!!

Play here all the time. Starting to dry up a big in the sun and heat but overall still well worth the price for a challenging city course.

We booked for a $35 x2 rate + GN fees and found that our playing partner called directly to the shop and got a $23 rate!!

Conditions are worst than I've seen it the last time I played. I don't think I'm coming back unless things change.

Been playing DeBell for 10 years. The course has always had some rough edges but it seems to be getting worse. Heavy weeds and rough not trimmed. Large areas that are just dirt on various holes. The greens were in decent shape. For 65 bucks there's better options. No GPS in carts, cart girl takes cash only.
