DeBell Golf Club
About
DeBell Golf Club in Burbank offers an 18-hole Regulation Course and a nine-hole disc golf course. The Regulation Course has a tight layout with narrow fairways and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is the key to doing well on this golf course but it's not overly punishing. Its risk-reward holes will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The front nine is fairly challenging but the back nine is where the golf course gets tough. Although DeBell Golf Club is short, only 5,608 yards from the back tees, the blind shots and winding doglegs make it seem much longer than it is. There isn't any water on the golf course but you'll hardly miss its presence with all the other hazards that lurk throughout.

Adorable
Fun track, played with some guys I used to work with. They were able to give me landmark points for tee shots as I'd never played this course. Some interesting hole configurations, helpful if you can shape your shots, and LOTS of gravity on the greens.
Needs some work
Course is in need of some serious work. Tee boxes are beat up ,fairways are brown in a lot of spots .. Pace of play is just awful , 2 1/2 hours to play 9 holes on an executive course is just too slow no one to keep groups moving along the regulars at this course don’t care if they are holding groups up .. $45 green fee is way overpriced.. My regular foursome won’t be coming back .. A plus is the starter is really friendly and the staff also
Great Track, Check Your Ego
The course is short, but technical. The setup is brilliant boasting a 230 yard par 3 as well as a few driveable par 4 greens that taunt your ego. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Due to affordability this course stays busy. The Hilltop Bar & Grill is really good. Great views for 18 wonderful holes.
Friendly, Accommodating, & great value
Super friendly staff. We had 2 cancel from our 4some the day before. I called and it wasn’t a problem. When I arrived at the course they still had us as a 4some in the computer and I was afraid we would have to pay but the gentleman in the pro shop was super accommodating. Pace of play was a little slow but it think that was more do to the beginners we ended up playing with. Overall great value and A+ staff.
An uphill battle
This is not an easy course! Driving to it you are driving uphill through Burbank, and the climb doesn’t stop when you get to the course. The 10th tee feels like you are looking straight up the hill. Challenging but enjoyable... I only wish it was a little quicker paced.
Good course
Fine course good for practice
Price is excellent
Length of course is short
Challenging Short Course, you will use most of your clubs off of the tee
Tight, narrow fairways, but very short par 4's and Par 5's, the par 3's are crazy long. One is actually 230 yards up hill and another you cannot see the green you have to hit it over a mountain! Really enjoyed the. Course minus the greens, 4 footers misses run off the green.
Trees
Course is pretty tough could definitely Trim some of the trees back
Good Value but lacking cart keys
Despite arriving 45 minutes before tee time and checking in early, still managed to tee off 20 minutes late due to the fact that they were short cart keys. Apparently there was a tournament earlier in the day but this is simply poor management. Also notified staff at the turn of a group of 6 that was slowing down play. They did nothing. Would be nice to have a marshal at least on busier days. Whats normally a 4 hour round was a 5+ hour round and our 12:30 group was the last to finish before dark due to slow play and late start
Pace of play!!!
The pace was snail to say the least took 3 hours to get through 9 holes won't he coming back
Storm ravaged
The course was hit by bad weather the prior day to my play so walking only permitted. The elevation changes are quite unique until you have to walk them. Once course is cleaned up from the downed trees and limbs it will be much better. The greens are the trickiest I've played. Will go back under different conditions and only when carts are available. Guess I am that old.
Overall course is set up for target golf so expect narrow precise target locations or you will loose strokes. Takes a couple times to play to get your quadrants figured out so don't expect too low of a score your first time around. Would be great fun under different conditions. Right now I'm sore and wore out from playing billy goat up and down the mountain all day.
Debell
Good course I have played a few times before. This last time pace of play was horrendous, 20 minute waits on most tees and no one doing anything to help move it forward. In my experience this is not typical but we left on 14. A good friendly club but they need to do better on days like these. Today the course was a zoo.
Took my brother for his birthday for a nice golfing day
He had a great time enjoy the course as well I did too. List a few golf balls, but we had fun( great atmosphere)
