DeBell Golf Club

First off I was greeted by the friendly starter as I entered the pro shop. No hassle at all. We teed off even before our time and the pacing was really good. The condition of the fairways and greens were decent . After the game we went to the clubhouse and again the staff were so nice. The food was excellent and the beer was perfect. Most of all the price was an absolute deal. Will play this course again.

Course tees/greens and fairways in decent shape after all the rain. Can always play a fast round during the week. For the price and proximity can't complain, much better than other LA city courses

I wish there were a Marshall, so that beginners will know what "keeping the pace" means. It took us 5 hours to finish. There were also high school kids that tried to cut in front of us. All these problems can be avoided if there was a Marshall.

This is a course that requires all the shots in the bag off the tee: Draws, fades, straight, long, short and stingers. I got 2 birdies but lost 3 balls. I hit a 307 yd. drive but scored a 91 or the round. I love the course for humbling me and making me want to come back and exact my revenge. I should shoot a 81. Many tough approach shots and 1 truly unfair green-no matter the ball lands it will roll off the green. Very good course to sharpen your game so that when you play other places you will eat them up. This was the 4th time I had played this week. I am a 12 handicap. Can't wait to play it again.

Tee Boxes and Greens need some serious work,, very inconsistent hole to hole ..My regular foursome won’t be back til we here about better conditions..Charging $45 for green fees is way too much for the conditions of this course..

Everything was going so well until we made the turn onto 10. There was a 5some on the tee who told my partner and I that we were in for a wait, as there were apparently several groups backed up on the upcoming holes. Not sure what happened, but it seems possible that the starter was letting people go before their tee time due to a fairly open front 9 and then it all slammed to a halt on the back. My partner gave up after 20 minute waits on 10 and 11 and I had to call it quits at 16. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve pushed 5 hours at this course and it was a week day afternoon.

COURSE OVERBOOKED...HAD TO WAIT FOR A CART...NO POSSIBLE WAY TO USE PRACTICE RANGE..WAY TO BUSY...BUNCH OF DRUNKS. MARSHALL HAD NO CONTROL OVER ROWDY GROUPS...PLAYED AT 8 SOME! WE LEFT AFTER PLAYING ONLY 2 HOLES IN 90 MINUTES AND FACING A 20-30 MINUTE WAIT ON HOLE 3. GOT OUR MONEY BACK...BUT RUINED OUR DAY...DON'T GO THERE ON WEEKEND...PROBABLY OK DURING WORK WEEK.

The course is a shorter course than normal but more challenging the average. Could be better kept but the greens are in excellent condition. I will always remember this course because on the 13th hole, par 5, I carded my first eagle...what a great moment. It is a bit quirky but a good test of your game.

This is a tough little course. on certain holes you have to hit to certain spots to have the best line to the green, the greens are in good shape, nice speed, there are a couple of dead spots on the fairways but the course is in good shape.

Course in good condition, always tough first four holes, but great price being in Burbank. After playing there several times wish they would be more strict on starting times and having a ranger to push along the those who do not have a great pace of play. Was in a foursome and waiting on every hole for a threesome who after nine was three holes away from group in front of them. Otherwise always great to be at the course

Played early to beat the heat. Course was in really good shape. Very green and lush. Greens were a little fast and rolled good. Only a few greens had small amounts of cancer but not bad. You definitely do not need a driver except for about 4-5 holes. Hitting straight is a must for a good score as the rough could be really rough. Great course and staff. A hidden gem! Will play again.

The course is well maintained and the club house is very nice. The driving range is neat. Every hole on the front nine appeared to be a dogleg thus you cannot boom the driver and must hit shaped shots: high draws or high fades, Greens were well kept.

The course was in great condition. It has its bare spots but for the most part I could not complain once about the round. The course was very green and lush! Maybe watering a little too much but wow it was a nice round out there. Had a great round in early November

I Would have lived to play the course but when we arrive they told us that they cancell d our tee time .... some of us cane from really far and it sucked that we all arrived on time and were cancelled... that being said there was nothing we could do about it and we left without playing ..hopefully next time we could get an earlier warning ...

Saturday early afternoon in about 4 hours, for $30. You can't beat this deal. Beautiful course tricky, tight layout that kept me interested every shot. I'll be back even if it's a 2 hour drive for me.
