Regulation at Marine Memorial Golf Course

2pm tee time, not crowded awesome. Fun long course good par 5's and had a fun time. Lots of Camp Pendleton souvenirs to buy at pro shop and got a logo cup too! Will come again, on special rate when they publish one again.

Very nice course in good condition. Fun holes with elevation changes. BUT 5 hour pace took all the fun out of day. After 2 1/2 hour front nine I spoke with the staff , who said they had received other complaints , but nothing changed. You'd think a Marine course would have a marshall with teeth,

Excellent course for a military course. Much better than the other military courses in the area.

I was so very happy to find this course. I always thought it was just for the military folks. Tee boxes are nice and level, fairways set the ball up nice for approach shots, greens are smooth and quick. Sand traps can use some more sand. Miss hits into the ruff are playable. There are a lot of trees so keep 'em in the fairway. Usually the opening holes have helping wind then you turn back against the wind that is good challenge in itself. For sure a hidden gem in North San Diego County. Absolutely worth the money, can't wait to get back out there.

Always enjoy playing here. Afternoon winds makes a couple of the par fours near impossible. My favorite part about this course is that the greens are always in great shape and usually on the quicker side. I prefer to walk even tho' Golf Now fees come with the cart.

Weather, conditions and pace of play was fine. However, decided to start on Hole 10. This because there was a back up with too many players on Hole 1. Was chewed out by Jeff the starter when we came around to Hole 1. Stated "Hole 10 was not an option as it interfered with greenskeeping".
Just trying to avoid delays and no one was on the back 9 at all. Otherwise, it was a great day!

I have base access so I wasn't worried about booking a round. I would suggest calling first to see what their policy/procedures are for those who don't.
I would suggest the course if you have the chance though. Other than the winds that picked up and got worse as the round went on the day was perfect and the course was in great condition.

First time playing the course /playing from the blue tees. Overall impression was a basic lay out with little trouble. Fairways were well groomed and greens were in very good condition but tricky to read(missed way to many putts). Being from OC not sure if the course had enough to make me want to come back. However enjoyed the round. Best part was finishing 18 holes in just over three hrs playing as a two some.

This course is a hidden gem, unless you are a military member or know of the limited public access you are missing out on a great golf experience. The course is in great shape despite the southern California drought conditions that have affected water availablity on other area courses.

The off-season condition of this course is average - fairway grass is inconsistent - grass on greens is good but surface is wavy in a lot of places - tee boxes are good.

I thought this course was awesome, uncrowded and green. Much nicer than I was expecting. Would defiantly recommend.

Havent played here in a couple of months and they removed all the beat up cart paths changed a couple of bunkers and really made the course enjoyable, its one of the greenest courses in the area right now, Fairways are great, greens are like carpets that you want to but the biggest divot in as possible just outstanding. Hands down for the money it is smoke checking a bunch of courses in the area. Cant wait to go back! *The ladies in the grill area take forever to cook so dont plan on it being quick and expect an attitude from them, their schedules are more important than the customer.

This course had fast, and well maintained greens.The layout was pretty flat, and a little bit repetitive. However, it is a well maintaine course that was worth the money.

Friendly staff. Course in good shape. Challenging layout especially holes into the wind. Strong par threes. Greens could be a little faster.

I played 18 holes on this course. The front was jammed a little bit because of a very slow group. The back was less than an hour. People are very friendly.

This was my first time playing this course. The back 9 was receiving some up date (improvements). The Front 9 is really fun, wide Fairways, really well maintained. The Greens are quite fast. All in all a great day playing.

Too flat for my taste. Greens were nice though. Also the back 9 was shut down. Might play here again.
