Buyer beware…greens are infested with poa
Greens are bumpy due to poa infestation. Not worth playing.
Very solid course when discounted price.
Very scorable track. Greens are in very good shape if a little slow. This is a course I enjoy playing when the price is right. Full price is not a good deal.
Payment
Hello,
I paid for this round on Wednesday and when checking in on Friday, the course charged me again. I didn’t realize until later that day due to not typically using this app when playing this course and also being excited to play. I will need to reach out to the course for reimbursement. Thanks
Great Course - Missing Mark on Value
Course is beautiful, staff is friendly, it’s an experience worth having. The issue for me was the value. It is not $100 better than the North Course, amenities such as basics like towels and coolers in the carts are lacking, and the experience for a non resident does not live up to the price. Glad I played, but would go elsewhere in future for better value (Audubon, Stonebridge, North Course, Joseph Bartholemew).
Little over priced
This is not a $120 course IMO. It’s a decent course. But I was expecting a lot more for that amount of money.
A Fantastic Experience
Played English Turn, Stonebridge, and here during Super Bowl week in Nola. English Turn was very good layout and conditioning was pretty good. Showing a little wear.
Stonebridge was a complete dog track that should be embarrassed for charging greens fees.
Bayou Oaks at City Park was by far the best of the bunch. A great driving golf course that played sneaky long with a steady one club wind. Greens were smooth and firm.
We played in 4 hours 20 minutes at 9 AM on a Sunday.
Locker room had showers which was a huge benefit for our out of town traveling squad. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.
This will be our go-to course to play in Nola (although we haven’t tried TPC)
Great Course, Weekend Tee Times Little Overpriced
Beautiful course with a good layout, greens well maintained. Personally don’t think the course is worth $110+ (weekend rates) but good deals on week days and good military/first responder/student rates.
Fun course, friendly staff
We had a great experience here. James the starter was knowledgeable and friendly. Challenging course but also good for average golfers.
great course for the price
played a hot deal. wasnt crowded and the course was in great condition. for $60 this is the best choice in the new orleans area.
Pretty course, in good condition! A little over priced if paying full price
Teatime comes with a small set of about 20 range balls. Carts have screens with GPS. Course is in good condition. Greens are slow early in the morning and feel faster once it dries out. Slightly overpriced if you’re paying full price, but still a very good course! If you are going to play, one of these courses play the south course, north course is worth $5 a round.
The course needs a marshal
2 days after a tropical storm passes, the south was surpsingly clean and mostly drained. Cpo as expected.
Pace of play was horrendous. 5 hrs and didn't finish 18 holes. Zero signs of marshal or refreshments cart.
This course is great for local residents at twighlighl fees. A.m. tee time prices are absolutely absurd.
I understand golf is very popular right now with the younger crowd ,( very happy to see that) however, its the courses responsibility to address the slow play and beginners who hit 2 or 3 balls on each hole. Apparently they were never taught golf etiquette.
