El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek
About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Be prepared to have your jaw under the powerlines
This course was in a horrible spot. Huge powerlines surging the whole time above you. Not to mention you play right next to a gun range where only trees protect you. Never again.

Chino Creek
Great POP. Greens good, fairways very shaggy. Layout is decent. Some good holes and some pretty bland holes. Much more challenging than Butterfield. Overall good value for the money.

Smooth
Nice round this morning. Fairways and greens were in great shape bunkers very little sand bucket you could still play out of them. The staff was very nice from the parking lot to the check In to the course took only a few minutes I will definitely play here again.

Great course
This course was great with open holes and friendly staff. The greens were well kept and the pace of the course was very accommodating. The snack bar staff was very friendly and the food was great. Great experience overall.

Great course
The layout is what made it for me on this course. Also it doesn’t have any type of cow manure smell that Butterfield has. Highly recommend for great practice. A tad pricy though but I enjoyed my experience
Great value. But need to buy beers before you tee off
Great time. The staff was very friendly. There is a lack of signage between holes. You can get turned around. We tee’d off at 4:15 and made the turn by 6:30. However, the snack shop was closed. We were expecting to grab some grub and a couple of beers for the back 9. Wish we were told ahead of time. Other than that it was a fun experience and we will be back.
