El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek
About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Fun layout, great greens
I really enjoyed this course. Lots of elevation changes, little quirks and twists and turns! I would definitely recommend riding, it would be a LONG walk!
Greens were in good shape
Greens were in good shape course was good for the money!!
Great value
Course was in good condition. Staff was friendly. The cart girl was training a new hire, which may have been why we only saw them twice. They were nice but it was hot and there’s no water stations. Would have liked to have them come by 1 or 2 more times. Overall great value for the money spent. I’ll be back.
Too many bugs
my biggest problem with this course is too many bugs. The bugs literally eat at you when trying to tee off or putting. Really bad. I would not play this course again. Because of that. I only played 16 holes. I ended my round after a par 3 birdie. A bug went in my nose while putting

Nice course unlucky I guess
Because it was the first time I played I was not quite sure where to hit the ball sometimes but overall I liked the course. I was a bit unlucky to fall in behind two groups of people who probably have rarely played golf before. Because I was a single it was miserably slow from about the 10th hole on. Otherwise it was an enjoyable round
Slow course
Course is like a desert. Slow pace of play. Would not recommend to anyone. I won’t be back

Perfect Conditions
The pace was very fast. We completed the course in 2. 15 minutes.
The tee boxes, and fairways are about the best I have seen them. The greens are ALWAYS
great. The starter is VERY NICE! Keep up the good work El Prado.
