El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek

About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Good Value
Escape to Chino for some quiet course time. First time here. Tee boxes are in good shape. Several holes are under power lines and you can definitely "hear" the electricity. You can feel your hair rising. Was pretty windy here. Good times and pace..
Course in nice shape.
The course is in good shape. There are some brown patches on the fairways- but we have been in a long heat wave. The bunkers have finally formed up a bit and play nicely now. Greens were rolling true.
Nice course
The golf course was very nice for the price. Lots of trees to rest under from the heat to provide shade while you wait for the next hole to play.
I did not expect all the flies the area.

We caught the back 9 guys at hole # 12
Great round until we caught the back 9 guys at hole #12. We teed off on #1 at 547, they had a tee time of 630 & started on #10. So a 3 hr round turned into a 4 hr round. Course and greens were in good shape

Good value course
Course is a good value for the price. 54 for a round and a small bucket during the weekday non-twilight time. Played Chino Creek most tee boxes and greens were in good shape. We all know the fairways need work. Bunkers surprisingly had a lot of sand which was nice. Check their website for days they have their mens or women’s club days and don’t come then. Came on a Monday morning our twosome finished the round in 3.5 hours and we were able to get out a little early. Yes we also know the cart paths are bumpy and are mainly just dirt, just drive down the rough its a lot smoother. My only gripe is for how long the course plays,(over 6800 yards from the blues) the greens need to be bigger. If my 2nd shot is from 180+ out on a long par 4, I expect the green to be big enough for me to hold it. Other than that you get what you pay for.
If u been here b4, then u know.
No cart paths, carts from the 90's and the bunkers straight trash. I saw at least 3 guys golfing in tank tops.
Get it together.
