Completely baffled.

Let's start with before I booked. I wanted to know the cart return time so I called and no one answered. So, against my better judgment I booked 2 players for 6:45 with cart. There is no forewarning as to when the carts are due back. Upon arrival I checked in and the lady at the front was beyond rude. "You know the carts are due back by 7:45? You still want it?". Of course, I paid for it. So then I go outside to get the cart and the guy tells me they're "due back by 7:30". Hmm. So we get to the first tee and 2 groups of 5 walkers are in front of us, no Marshall to be found. After lagging to hole 2, the front desk lady comes riding by and says "my carts are due back at 7:45". So you advertise 18 holes with cart but rip me off when i get there. We were only able to play 3 holes before the guy who gave me the cart rides by and says "they're not suppose to be playing like that. Its about time to bring the carts in". I took the cart back 10 minites early and the girl who received it looked very bothered. It was a terrible experience to say the least. It's clear they have a lot of fore pass members that they allow to play any time and clog up the course. Overall staff interaction was awful. This is the closest course to my house but I doubt I'll ever come back here.

Brownsmill golf course

Couse was in great shape. For the value you can't beat it. Missing amenities were no cart person and clubhouse lack food. As long as you know that. You are good.

Really enjoyed this track, especially for the price. Greens were in good shape with quick pace. I loved the layout as well. Pace of play was pretty slow with the group ahead of us taking their time despite poor play and less players in our group but it was a busy Sunday afternoon.

Another day in the ATL

Course was in good shape, greens were extremely fast. Tee boxes need some love but greens where in great shape. Pace of play us always an issue. Would play there again.

You Don’t Even Get What You Pay For

The conditions were pretty bad. Ground was wet and muddy, even though it hadn’t rained in 3 days. Wasn’t told about it being cart path only until right before we tee’d off. Once we got to hole 7, we were told the front 9 was off limits due to it being reserved for a high school teams practice. Weren’t told about this ahead of time. Had to go to ten where it was then insanely backed up, and being cart path only didn’t help the pace of play. There was no water at any of the holes, the bathroom in the club house was out of order, the clubhouse only sold water (no food or other drinks). Greens were super bumpy. Overall a bad experience and the worst I’ve seen the course, even though it was the most I’ve had to pay for a tee time playing there.

My favorite course

Browns Mill golf course is my favorite course to play. Though it is my favorite, the one issue is that most of the time I am there to play. The driving range often closed! We need to warm up before play. Love the layout, pace of play is never an issue. The greens is good.

Decent public course

Good value for the money. Is fairly long, but not overly challenging. Long hitters will do well here. Grass is still brown, but starting to see a few green shoots coming up. Course really holds water, so not a good place to play after a hard rain.

First time experience

Only the back nine was available due to flooding issues with the river and the front nine. However the staff was able to get me and my friend back onto the back nine ahead of tee times set and play the full 18. Great course especially for its price and great staff.
