Browns Mill Golf Course

Course is great for the price! Staff guy with the ponytail was very unfriendly!!!! Can’t even get out your vehicle before he is pulling up on you. What time is your tee? Well I will see what I can do. I have no cats. Shop was locked, couldn’t buy water, use restroom or nothing.

From start to finish, the absolute worse pro shop employee I have ever encountered! The young woman needs to be reprimanded and trained on how to interact with the people who pay her salary. Also, instead of trying to recoup as much money as you possibly could, try spacing the groups a little further apart. Starting at 4:00pm and then being told by the pro shop employee that I needed to “be off the course by 7:15” is a bit much. Especially since I was fully aware of this before tee off. Since there were so many groups tightly packed together, our group could only play 11 of the 18 holes we paid for. Based on the slow pace I’ve encountered each time I’ve played this course and the poor attitude of the pro shop employee, I will not play this course again. Nor will I recommend it to anyone who inquires about it.

Good course for under $40. Low lying with few hills so it plays like a Florida course. First Tee Box is poorly monitored and causes issues.

It was a great course once I for started. The flow of play was very slow. There was a cart shortage at the time so I tee'd off 30 mons late. The cart lady was obviously ready to go home for the day. She stated several times that she was "Over it" while I was waiting on my cart.

This course is to DIE for! No really, between the 20 gunshots heard and staff instigating fights, you really may die.

If the goal was make sure your everyone in your pairing said “please god let’s never play here again”, then come here!

Also, do you love mudding? We’ll come on down! There was no shortage of great ponds in the fairways to whip some donuts.

Forget about golf, this course is about survival. From idiotic Marshalls to shootouts at the turn.

Overall an okay Muni course, fairways were brown and a bit wet in spots, greens were okay.

Strange that all golf carts need to be in at 530 on the dot. Got stuck behind some guys walking and never really worked up the chance to play through, a two some drive right around me on one hole, then the group ahead of me without even asking to play through which was odd.

Rented clubs were solid, gals in the proshop were super friendly.

My only complaint about this classic city course is that they require the carts to be returned a full hour or more before dark. Do what all the other courses do and hire someone to stay until dark to clean and charge the carts. That would be so much more customer friendly.

Big fairways. No difference between fairway and rough. Greens are in decent shape. Pace of play was great and staff was awesome. 18 homes for 30 bucks, not bad.

I booked a 3pm Tee Time for two of us. Usually that’s plenty of time to finish 18 before sunset. Unfortunately the pace of play was very slow. Even off the first tee we didn’t actually tee off until about 330pm. The carts had to be back by 545pm (45 min prior to sunset) so we only got 9 holes in total. Other than that the course was a lot of fun. Very challenging with lots of long par 4’s. Fairways were pretty wet due to recent rain. Greens were in descent shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. Last thing is they are losing out on a ton of money by not offering any sort of alcohol or food. No food cart and no beers for sale. BYOB if you want any. I would play here again but I would go for an earlier tee time.
