Browns Mill Golf Course

First they over book no ice machine working the greens were aeration but no one mentioned that online still charged full price the usb in cart not working

The complete front side close for maintenance. This is not worth the value or for me to book another round of golf using this site, this is the second time in a row.There will not be a third time.

Browns Mill is typically a solid course. You know what you’re getting out of it for the price. But today was pretty terrible conditions. They had half of the course closed due to aerating the greens on the front 9. They were letting a kids camp play as well so the entire front side was slammed. Took almost 3 hours for 9 holes. The pace normalized on the back due to most people going home because of the terrible shape of the greens which were punched and sanded. Im honestly surprised they had the other half closed because i can’t imagine it being any worse on the other side. Punching and sanding greens is necessary, but let people know that before they book tee times is really all I’m asking. Starter was really nice and the fairways were decent. Hopefully the greens heal quickly because i do enjoy playing this course.

Had a fun round at Browns Mill. Course layout was super fun with difficult and easy par 4s, which is fun when a track has both.

Overall course was in good shape, greens were slow but consistent. Tee boxes need work. Rangers did a great job of keeping up pace of play after a slow start.

Greens aren’t smooth. With in 2 feet? Just give yourself a gimmie

Love Browns Mill! Easy, straightforward, but fun layout; decent conditioning; great patrons; fair price. One of my top 3 favorite area munis.

Showed up for a 6:45 AM tee time to a group of 8 golfers waiting outside the clubhouse. People continued to show up with no staff to be found. I’m writing this sitting in my car at 7:25 AM, and the clubhouse is still locked. Better yet, I can’t get my money back on GolfNow. I’m not one to write bad reviews, but come on. A full days worth of golfers overpaid for a dog track, just to show up and not be able to play. I’m done playing cheap courses. You get what you pay for.

My second round here. I’m fairly new and love the course layout - fairly flat, straight and nice fairway widths. The course was very wet, but this is understandable after a week of daily hard rains.
