Browns Mill Golf Course

I arrived for my tee time and immediately met a friend to play along with. We enjoyed the weather and the scenery.

First thing you have to remember...this is a public course that gets played by a good number of golfers...so you can't be thinking Agusta National. For the price, and convenient location, it is a good way to get out and swing the sticks. I was there on a Thursday morning and was able to get off the first tee without a backup of golfers. The back nine is currently closed while they are repairing the cart paths.

Day of play, only 9 holes available for play twice (Started 18 month project to make cart path repairs).

No indication of only 9 holes available to play, twice, for an 18 hole round on the website, when booking through Golfnow.

Course didn’t notify Golfnow prior too or day of confirmed play.

No direct notification from course to me.

Traveled 25 mi; golfing guest traveled 20mi

Golfnow would not refund because the course wasn’t closed. They got paid.

Course got paid for a booking which was falsely represented as 18 holes, not 9 twice. They were technically only open for 9. An 18 hole booking, is not 9, two times, unless advertised and choice is accepted for that format of play

I lost money because my guest and I didn’t play. I booked two tee times and wasn’t refunded.

I didn’t select when booking, to play 9 holes twice !!

Course Management failed. It was totally in reasonable consideration.

Best track I've played in the City of ATL family of courses.

Beautiful day, course was in fairly good shape. Greens were challenging.

We played 18 and wanted to play again, but we were told it would be $31 for 9 holes. Golf Now had 18 holes for $31 for the same time.....Hmmmmmm?

Must be the new math???

I like this more than Chastain, fun easy course without too many hazards or trees. Playable from anywhere off of the tee and greens that actually roll true. I’ll be playing here again

Would be nice to know ahead of booking that a tournament is occurring. Will return but the experience will remind me to call ahead.

This is a solid course for golfers of all levels. It has some challenges but isn't so hard it's not fun. The course is in solid condition and exceeded my expectation for a city run course.

Tee time for 4:39 pm. I arrived 10 minutes late. Staff allowed me to tee off. The course was backed up slightly. Tee off at 4:54. Joined by two other gentlemen. We all were walking.

Tee boxes were decent but could use a bit of improvement.

Greens were in good shape for the most part. Areas with more sun exposure were smoother. Shade covered areas of the greens were a bit fuzzy. Still very playable greens.

Pace of play was slightly slow. Had to wait on most tee shots but not unbearable.

Will definitely play here again. Surrounding area has not yet gentrified. Therefore will need to bring own refreshments as the on course amenities are not geared towards leisure.

The pace of play is ridiculous. They do not monitor who jumps on back nine. This course should take 4 hours max, but I seems to always get backed up on the back nine. They desparately need to fix some of the tee boxes

The course itself is a nice track , but because of the value price it gets congested so pack your patience

This is a fun track and good value. The layout is a good length and enjoyable for golfers of any skill level. Greens and bunkers were in good shape. Pace of play was OK- typical for this kind of course. While the staff were all friendly and helpful, there were almost no amenities at the clubhouse or on the course. There are some drainage issues, and the cart path needs a lot of work. Still, for what you pay, this is a great course in a very convenient location. I will probably walk instead of ride next time I play here.

Pace of play is a joke. It would be beneficial if there was grass to play off of…In the fairway. All in all, the layout is good, but the conditions leave a Lot to be desired. Coming into Spring can be difficult, but for $46 on a Sunday afternoon - come on please do better.
